| Construction engineering industry is an important pillar industry of China’s national economy and has made great contributions to China’s modernization and urbanization.Since the reform and opening up,high-rise buildings have sprung up and new towns have been built one after another, for which a large number of construction workers have paid hard sweat and labor. Most of them come from villages all over the world. They leave their homes and come to cities to make a living in order to seek better development and higher economic income. They are genuine floating population, also known as migrant workers.Due to the simple nature of ordinary front-line construction posts in the engineering industry and low entry threshold, most of them only need to provide corresponding physical work to obtain benefits,so they have become a major mainstream of job selection for migrant workers in cities. However, migrant workers are often restricted by their own limitations and affected by the social environment. While they have made great contributions to social development, their living environment and quality still need to be improved, which is particularly obvious in the construction engineering industry. They are engaged in heavy physical labor and have been in the construction noise and dust on the construction site for a long time, but the quality of living environment and living space is generally not high, such as unreasonable architectural form and space combination, monotonous external space, scarce landscape elements, insufficient ventilation and lighting, unscientific internal design, too small per capita living area, lack of storage and drying space, insufficient humanistic care, etc.Based on this, from the perspective of architecture, this paper explores the living space of migrant workers on the current construction site, understands the current situation and existing problems of migrant workers’ living space on the construction site, and seeks a practical way to solve these problems.Firstly, through the in-depth analysis of the construction and use characteristics of migrant workers’ living space and various factors affecting the quality of migrant workers’ living space,we can find out the internal relationship and causes of the problem.Secondly, taking the residential space of migrant workers on the construction site of Nanjing Jiangning Shangfang new town as an example, starting from the subjective experience of users and combined with the actual situation of the project construction site, this paper classifies and summarizes the influencing factors of residential space,so as to provide targeted entry points for subsequent problem-solving.Then combined with the relevant housing theory, demand level theory, modern landscape design theory, the internal construction process and characteristics of migrant workers’ living space on the construction site and the restrictive factors in the actual project construction, this paper puts forward the optimization design strategy of migrant workers’ living space in line with the actual project construction--the three-line theory of migrant workers’ living space optimization design on the construction site. That is,we must meet the bottom line of physical needs, try to meet the middle line of psychological needs, and encourage the online meeting of cultural, entertainment and social needs. Then, under the guidance of three line theory, the specific optimization design methods and steps are described. Finally, the feasibility of the optimization design strategy and method is verified by the simulation of an actual case. |
