Analysis On Security Of Migrant Workers At Construction Sites In Qinghai Province

With the reform in China's construction enterprises and employment system, a fundamental change has occurred in the structure of construction workers: the management has been separated from the labor, and the originally permanent construction workers have been replaced by the current temporary migrant workers. Under the circumstances, the original self-management mode of construction companies can no longer apply to the new situation. Plus, with the increasingly fierce market competition, the rapid development of construction industry, and the ideological change from migrant workers to industrial workers, the security management for migrant workers at construction sites is still far from being satisfactory, thus making the security of migrant workers the focus of attention. Consisting of three parts, the paper studies the security of migrant workers at construction sites, conducts a relatively in-depth analysis on the status quo and problems of migrant workers'security at construction sites, and then gives some countermeasures to solve the problems.First of all, based on the previous literatures, this paper compares the differences in security management between China and other countries, analyzes the status quo and shortcomings of construction security management in China, and then describes the ideological problems in security management at construction sites.Then, by using questionnaires and taking the construction sites in Qinghai Province as a case, the status quo of migrant workers'security at construction sites is investigated and analyzed, and then the major problems in local security management for migrant workers are found out.Finally, to solve the problems in security management for migrant workers, some recommendations to improve the system of security management for migrant workers are put forward.
