New changes have taken place in the principal contradiction in the new era,and residents have higher requirements for the quality of living environment, and the supporting public service facilities in the residential area is an important aspect affecting the quality of life of the residential area. For such a special industrial and mining city such as Baiyun Ebo mining area,it has long been committed to the development of industrial economy, causing many problems to the city, such as the damage to the living environment, unbalanced urban development, unbalanced public service facilities, lack of old residential facilities and other phenomena. The contradiction between supporting public service facilities and residents demand for supporting public service facilities is the direct factor that determines the quality of life of residents in the mining area.So put forward the demand perspective of independent mining area public facilities configuration optimization research, based on the existing residential area, baiyun mine four types of settlements as the research object,to perfect the residential life supporting facilities as the goal, based on the current facilities success rate and residents daily life demand matching relationship, explore the mining area public service facilities layout problems and optimization measures.Guided by the living circle theory of the study and Maslow’s demand theory, the paper uses field research method and computer analysis and simulation method to analyze the standard rate of supporting facilities in the mining area and the demand for public service facilities, and then find the difference between supply and demand and put forward the facility optimization strategy. The research includes three parts: the supply status of public service facilities in residential areas, the demand analysis of residents in different types of residential areas for public service facilities, and the optimization of the layout of facilities with the living circle as the carrier.First, the nuclear density analysis method and network analysis method of Arc GIS software are used to analyze the existing problems and the standards of the six categories of facilities qualitatively and quantitatively, and the existing problems and causes are summarized. Then, through visits and research,to understand the residents demand for public service facilities. The residents use frequency and demand preference of the facilities were investigated, and the questionnaire was analyzed by using SPSS software to determine the degree of residents demand for each type of facilities. Finally use the buffer analysis,OD cost matrix analysis and Tyson polygon of Baiyun Ebo mining area for five minutes, ten minutes,15 minutes of life circle, combined with the current situation of facilities and residents demand analysis, the three categories of life supporting public facilities optimization design, and use the existing idle stock building renovation Suggestions, meet the demand for public facilities.Through the study of the residential area of Baiyun Ebo mining area,it is found that for the residential areas with low development intensity and low population density of Baiyun Ebo mining area, the living circle should be divided from the two dimensions of land use scale and population size, and the corresponding service facilities should be combined with the needs of different residents. It is hoped that this research will provide some theoretical guidance for the implementation of supporting public service facilities in Baiyun Ebo mining area, and also provide some reference for the research of supporting facilities in the same type of mining area.
