Cultural heritage is the carrier of history and culture, and protecting cultural heritage is an important way to strengthen cultural self-confidence.In recent years, under the background that the party and the state have paid more and more attention to upholding cultural self-confidence,how to protect cultural heritage and interpret the connotation of cultural heritage is particularly important.Among them, the heritage in the urban environment is gradually destroyed and occupied by urban construction, and the integrity of the heritage has been greatly threatened. The display of urban superimposed large sites has always been a major difficulty in the display of large sites in China, especially because the superposition of modern urban space makes it difficult to present the sites and their multi-epoch characteristics and be perceived by the public. The ritual building site of Chang’an City in Han Dynasty is the Silk Road: the road network of Chang’an-Tianshan Corridor—an important part of the site of Chang’an City in Han Dynasty.Important physical evidence for the thought of Zuozu and Right Society.Since the ritual buildings were burnt down at the end of the New Dynasty, this area has undergone the construction of the ruins of Chang’an City in the Sui and Tang Dynasties and the construction of an important national industrial base in the "First Five-Year Period",and has become a typical multi-era urban superimposed large site in the main urban area of Xi’an.Combined with such an era background and a realistic background, this research explores how to make the disappeared urban heritage and its multi-era stratification characteristics become recognizable in urban space based on the ritual architecture site of Chang’an City in the Han Dynasty,so as to coordinate cultural heritage protection and urban construction. The contradiction between development has very important theoretical value and practical significance. This research mainly consists of four parts: the first part is the basic research, including the research origin of the layered space display of the ritual building site in Chang’an City in the Han Dynasty, the research status at home and abroad, and the interpretation of relevant theoretical knowledge, international charter, and relevant cases; The second part is the cognition and interpretation of the research object, and the in-depth analysis of the historical overview, site composition, archaeological information, historical documents and value of the preservation status of the ritual building site in Chang’an City and other urban heritage in the Han Dynasty; The research on synchronicity, that is,the historical stratification mining in the time dimension and the stratification feature identification in the space dimension,to clarify the display objects and the stratification relationship between them;the third part studies the types of site ontology display and different types of site ontology display method, and summarizes the design suggestion toolbox for displaying the stratified space ontology of the site.Secondly,it studies the surrounding environment space design method using landscape elements to display the site pattern, and summarizes the surrounding environment space design suggestion toolbox for displaying the stratified space heritage pattern of the site.;The fourth part gives the overall protection and display suggestions for the layered space of the ritual building site, and analyzes the site conditions and preservation status of the layered space unit of the site, and selects the appropriate body and pattern display design from the previous part according to the site conditions.way to apply. The research conclusions are as follows: first,Based on the relevant theoretical basis of cultural heritage protection and display,it is clear that the display of the ritual architecture site of Chang’an City in the Han Dynasty should not be limited to the display of the site itself, but should also focus on the wider surrounding environment and deeper layers of the site beyond the site itself.Laminated space;second,Analysis of the stratified space of ritual architecture relics through many eras, divided it into three important stratifications, and made it clear that the stratified spatial characteristics of ritual architecture relics can be identified from the spatial pattern and spatial elements;third,Through the investigation and research on the status quo of the heritage of each era in the layered space of the ritual building site in Chang’an City in the Han Dynasty,a display design toolbox is proposed for the design of the site itself and the surrounding environment space design of the site pattern,to guide the display and implementation of the ritual building site.It enriches the display methods of the overall pattern of the heritage;fourth,Combined with the current situation of urban space, according to the different conditions of the layered space units of each site, the unique display methods of each site are selected and applied in practice. The "IICS(Interpretation-Identification-Creation-Selection)design process" displayed by large-scale sites provides an example for the display of the same type of urban superimposed heritage.
