Research On Renovation Design Strategy Of Kitchen In Multi-storey Existing Residential Buildings In Xi’an Region In 1980s

In the stock era,the existing residential kitchen space has been unable to meet the needs of users for kitchen quality at this stage.It is urgent to improve its comfort.This paper selects the multi-storey existing residences in Xi’an in the 1980 s as the research object.Based on a large number of household surveys of existing residential kitchens,the existing residential kitchens are divided into two categories: full indoor kitchens and semi indoor kitchens.According to the characteristics of the triangular space layout of kitchen work,the two categories of kitchens are further divided into functional separation kitchens and functional integration kitchens.Select typical kitchen samples for detailed investigation,analyze and record the kitchen space scale,size information and the current situation of various internal facilities and equipment,and record and analyze the current situation of residents’ use behavior and subjective evaluation.By means of comparative analysis,this paper summarizes the common characteristics and current problems of different types of existing residential kitchens.Through comprehensive analysis and research,it is concluded that the existing residential kitchens have three current problems: incomplete spatial functions,unreasonable layout,unsuitable cooking equipment and old facility system.According to the current problems,the basic general principles of renewal and transformation,as well as the general strategies of kitchen equipment selection and facility system transformation are put forward.This paper summarizes the main factors that affect the kitchen renovation goals,and puts forward two renovation goals: space expansion and space convergence.The specific transformation strategies are put forward from two aspects: the layout of kitchen space and the installation and layout of kitchen facilities and equipment: rearrange the functional area and reorganize the functional relationship;According to the current situation of different types of kitchen space,select the corresponding layout location and installation mode of facilities and equipment.According to typical kitchen samples,specific design cases under different transformation objectives are put forward.In this way,the design strategy is combined with the actual situation,hoping to provide reference for the renovation of the existing residential kitchen.
