| With the change of ideas,the focus of China’s economic has gradually changed from growth to quality.High-quality economic development has become China’s new development goal.At present,evaluation,analysis of influencing factors,influencing mechanism and so on are the main concerns of related research on high-quality economic development.The research objects are mostly focused on the whole country and a certain province,and few researches are conducted at urban agglomerations.In recent years,urban agglomerations have increasingly become the growth poles to promote economic development.Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration has great development potential and is also an important platform for China’s western development strategy.Due to the location and other reasons,the development of its high-speed rail is relatively slow,and the related research is few,so it is of far-reaching significance to explore the impact of high-speed rail in this area.Guided by the new development concept,appending the characteristics of tourism resources of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration,the entropy weight method is applied to establish the index system in this article,and analyze from three aspects: time,space and subsystem.Then,in view of the uncertainty of the opening time of high-speed rail,we built a time-varying DID model to explore the impact of high-speed rail on the high-quality economic development,analyzed the heterogeneity from various angles,and built an intermediary effect model to verify the impact path,finally drew conclusions,and put forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The economic high-quality development index of Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration is distributed between0-1,which shows a good performance.The economic high-quality development level of urban agglomeration has improved in more than ten years,and the economic high-quality development index of each city fluctuates and rises.Chongqing and Chengdu show the trend of "two cities are dominant".Because of differences in development basis,the spatial distribution has no obvious change.There is a big gap in innovation dimension among cities,and it is gradually expanding,and the coordinated dimension is developing in a balanced way.(2)At the level of urban agglomeration,high-quality economic development has significantly improved under the influence of high-speed rail.To be specific,high-speed rail has a significant negative effect on large cities,but has no obvious effect on small and medium-sized cities.It has negative and positive impacts on large-scale and medium-sized economy of cities,but has no significant impact on small-scale cities.It has a positive impact on the high-quality economic development level of cities adjacent to other administrative provinces,which stimulates the pivotal role.(3)The analysis of the impact of high-speed rail on dimensions shows that high-speed rail has a positive impact on the innovation,coordination,openness and share,with the largest contribution in the innovation and openness dimensions,and no obvious effect on the green dimension.It explains that high-speed rail can raise the standard of innovation and openness of cities,and then promote high-quality economic development(4)The test results of influence mechanism show that high-speed rail has influenced technology innovation,upgrading of industrial structure and environment-friendly development,but only innovation and industrial structure upgrading can promote high-quality economic development. |
