Research On International Construction Contracting Management Of Company A Based On Value Chain Theory

Under the guidance of the Belt and Road initiative,the development for the international construction contracting market has become increasingly popular,and more and more Chinese enterprises have gone abroad to participate in international construction contracting.With the increasing numbers of "going global" enterprises,the competition for the international construction contracting market is so fierce that all the enterprises are trying to improve their competitiveness to occupy a higher market share.Compared with the top international construction contractors all over the world,the management problems of Chinese international construction contracting enterprises are still prominent,which are seriously restricting the development of Chinese enterprises in the international construction contracting market.Many of them have begun to examine their own problems and adjusted actively to adapt to the international market better,however,they never got the key point.As an international construction contracting enterprise,Company A has been deeply engaged in overseas market for many years,yet it is facing the same problems as well.On the one hand,the utility of the company’s traditional advantages is gradually reduced in the fierce competition.On the other hand,the inherent problems of the company have not been improved,which are seriously constrained.Therefor the company needs to systematically sort out his various businesses and find out the crux,and the Value Chain Theory provides the framework and method.This dissertation analyzes the value activities of Company A through the Value Chain Theory,locates the problems of international construction contracting management of Company A,figures out the basic reasons and puts forward countermeasures.In the research process,I organically combines international construction contracting management with the Value Chain Theory through literature research method,and applies it to Company A.With careful analysis and scientific demonstration,the dissertation produces the following results:(1)It realizes the coupling of international construction contracting management and the Value Chain Theory,constructs the general model of internal and external value chain of international construction contracting enterprises,and provides an excellent perspective for researching the international construction contracting management of Company A.From this perspective,the dissertation determines and defines the internal and external value chain of Company A in Nigeria.(2)Guided by the general analysis process and content of Value Chain Theory,it analyzes the international construction contracting management of Company A.This dissertation sorts out the value activities and their interrelatedness of company A,clarifies the specific roles of value extension activities,main activities and auxiliary activities in the enterprise,combines with the analysis of the problems between market scope and market positioning,it forms an accurate list of problems,and determines the rectification target for the enterprise.(3)By reasoning and analyzing the causes of international construction contracting management problems,the dissertation reconstructs the value chain of Company A,and provides the capacity-building objectives and the implementation path.At the level of value activities,it proposes measures for the in-depth improvement,horizontal expansion and vertical extension of value activities,mutual promotion of consulting business,as well as safeguard measures,which shall ensure that company A would deal with problems in a targeted manner.The research content of this dissertation is based on the previous research results,and refers to 34 documents.In order to express intuitively and vividly,a certain number of charts are combined in the dissertation,including 13 charts and 8 tables.
