Now,under the background of the new normal,China’s economic development has changed from "high-speed" development to "progress while stable" development.The national tightening policy will inevitably bring some negative market to our construction market.Due to the high degree of marketization of the construction industry,it is no longer able to continue to adopt the original traditional development model in the face of the complex and changeable macro environment.As a construction enterprise,it is the only way for the sustainable development of a construction enterprise to recognize its own status,prepare for a rainy day,do a good job in transformation and upgrading,constantly explore the survival mode of the construction industry under the new normal,and constantly improve its core competitiveness.Based on this,this paper chooses YIC Company as the research object to study its competitiveness.Founded in 2012,YIC Company is a large and medium-sized construction company in Hainan Province with a wide range of business.Since its establishment,YIC company has completed a large number of national key construction projects such as energy,transportation,chemical industry,building materials and infrastructure.This paper makes an in-depth discussion on the core competitiveness of YIC company by using the field survey method.Through the analysis,it can be seen that the low competitiveness of YIC company is mainly manifested in the low efficiency of market operation,insufficient management ability,limited investment in technological innovation,backward construction of company culture,and the ability of resource utilization and integration to be improved.In view of these deficiencies,combining the theory of sustainable development,the theory of corporate strategic management,the theory of enterprise synergy and the theory of competitive advantage,this paper puts forward the strategy of YIC company to improve its competitiveness from the aspects of technological innovation,personnel comprehensive management,strengthening cultural construction and so on.At present,although some achievements have been made in the exploration of the core competitiveness of large construction companies in the society,there are relatively few researches on the core competitiveness of small and medium-sized construction industry.The research in this paper is conducive to the improvement of the competitiveness of YIC company and can also provide some references for other construction enterprises. |
