| In the context of rural revitalisation, tourism development has become a trend in rural development, and the village space,as an important carrier,is also facing a morphological adjustment in order to be compatible with the functional needs of the transformed tourism. In traditional planning and design, spatial experience has its own potential for derivation, but it is difficult to avoid the drawbacks of ’causal confusion’ and ’individual ambiguity’.It is a kind of extended analysis and reflection that opens up a great deal of tension in the topic of design solutions.Based on this, the thesis analyses the spatial form and landscape of Yaonan Village in Xinping County,Yuxi, through the intervention of a quantitative approach to spatial syntax,in an attempt to provide guidance for its spatial construction.Firstly, the syntactic axes model is used to determine the "spatial value potential" in terms of overall integration and control values, and the "spatial linkage benefits" in terms of connection and average depth values, both of which form a "dual indicator " The syntactic analysis of the current spatial form of Yonan Village was carried out to obtain design hints, which were then used to form a design solution after making peace with the site requirements. The results are then quantified to the micro level through a syntactic field of view model to analyse how well the design matches the accessibility and functional integration of the various clusters in Yonan Village. At the same time, the landscape layout of each entrance space of the village is verified by superimposing the accessibility and visibility layers;the landscape layout of the alleyway space of Yonan Village is revealed in multiple ways with the visual departure-oriented centre point, the visual control-oriented viewpoint, the visual crossing-oriented directionality and the visual connectivity-oriented visibility, and then the landscape of each village is further designed. Finally, the spatial characteristics of Yonan Village are summarised in the context of syntax, leading to an optimisation strategy and recommendations that "need to balance the relationship between discrete defects and natural habitat".The research has learned that spatial syntax can form a logical model in the design of village spatial forms, with multiple and multi-directional verification mechanisms, but at the micro level of the village landscape, functional and natural landscape spaces should be clarified. The potential of syntax in village design lies in its contextual significance, and should be viewed rationally in terms of the orientation and judgement of syntactic indicators. In addition, the universality and specificity, history and future of syntax in the village are discussed, with a view to providing a reference for the application of planning practice. |
