| With the continuous acceleration of China’s urbanization process and the vigorous development of urban renewal,streets,as an important window of development achievements,have gradually changed from simple access roads to important public spaces in the city,from car oriented to people-oriented,and the city has gradually changed from roads to daily places of activities for residents and pedestrians,Walking has also become a way of people’s daily activities.With China’s emphasis on the construction of pedestrian cities,the traffic disadvantages brought by rapid development are gradually emerging.Therefore,walking friendliness has become an important standard to reflect the vitality of the city and the green and healthy life of residents.Developed countries in foreign countries have successively seen and exhibited the relevant research and practice of urban pedestrian friendliness,and have formed rich research results at present.However,the research in China has just started.In order to improve the quality of urban development,building a pedestrian friendly city has become one of the important objectives of urban development.At present,many scholars have also carried out research on urban pedestrian friendliness,With the rise of urban big data,it is possible to make a scientific and objective quantitative evaluation of pedestrian friendliness.By combing and summarizing the theory of urban pedestrian friendliness,research methods of urban pedestrian friendliness and the influencing factors of urban pedestrian friendliness,this paper takes Pingjiang new town as the research scope and the street space of Pingjiang new town as the research object.By sorting and summarizing the relevant research on"pedestrian friendliness"at home and abroad,through the connectivity of pedestrian space structure From the four dimensions of convenience of functional facilities,comfort of walking environment and safety of walking space,12 indicators have been developed,including integration of walking network,selection of walking path,link of road network,mixing degree and density of business type POI,accessibility of service facilities,street green visibility,sky visibility,sense of street enclosure,degree of street motorization,crossing rate and pedestrian safety,Using the analytic hierarchy process,the weight of each index is given.According to the construction of the pedestrian friendliness evaluation system of urban street space,the pedestrian friendliness results of Pingjiang new town are finally obtained,the basic characteristics and problems of pedestrian friendliness of Pingjiang new town are analyzed and verified,and finally the optimization principles and strategies are put forward for the problem of pedestrian friendliness of Pingjiang new town. |
