| In the process of transferring to the inflowing areas, the mobile population faces difficulties in integrating into the city.In the context of the new type of urbanization, which is "people-oriented",the social integration of the mobile population has received increasing attention. As a prerequisite for social integration, urban village communities have become a key starting point for the integration of the migrant population into the city with their inclusiveness."The ideal spatial carrier can promote the creation of interaction. Therefore, when people lack the foundation of field relationship, encouraging interaction through spatial optimization is a feasible path, and this is the theoretical basis..The "fully integrated" urban villages in Hangzhou, which are the most spatially integrated and have a large proportion of mobile population, were selected as the research scope, and the Luojiazhuang and Wulian communities in Hangzhou were selected as the research subjects.First,we analyzed the current situation, problems and causes of foreigners’ interaction in urban villages. Then, based on the quantitative study of the spatial usage evaluation and correlation analysis of the foreigners,we identified the "enhanceable" spatial elements with high correlation but low satisfaction rating, which were used as the basis for proposing spatial optimization strategies. There are three findings in this study.First, the foreigners in the urban villages suffer from the double dilemma of unfamiliarity with each other and the lack of interaction with the local people in isolation.Secondly,in the larger public spaces in urban villages, the interaction subjects are mostly local people, and their interaction activities are not hindered by the monotony of the external space due to the habits left in the rural society;the interaction of foreign people occurs mostly in the small and micro marginal spaces, and the interaction activities are characterized by passivity, accompaniment and low social level.Thirdly, the "upgradeable" space elements of the space with high usage rate of foreign people are mainly paving, resting and lighting facilities, which are the primary objects of space transformation. For spaces with low usage rate,it is necessary to increase the attraction to encourage foreigners to arrive there.Based on this, two spatial optimization strategies are proposed. The first is to promote the integration of foreigners with each other, including the optimization of paving and planting, the optimization of resting facilities to increase dwell space, and the improvement of lighting quality to encourage nighttime activities. The second is to encourage the integration of foreigners and locals, including the addition of landscape markers and enrichment of spatial functions. With the design themes of "Moonset in front of the door" and "Bamboo leaning on the well",we have developed a design scheme for the renovation of the typical small and micro spaces and public spaces in Luojiazhuang Xiyuan District. There are differences in interaction between foreigners and locals in the urban village, through spatial transformation and landscape enhancement, outdoor activities can be encouraged and interaction between people can be promoted,so that foreigners can better integrate into the urban village community,in response to the new people-oriented urbanization construction. |
