With the global warming and the accelerated melting of the Arctic ice,it is possible for the Arctic route to be fully navigable.the Arctic route economic circle is not limited to the Arctic Circle Region,so it is necessary to delimit the influence scope of the Arctic route.At present,the research field mainly focuses on the shipping network in the economic circle,and there is less research on ports.In the process of large-scale navigation of the Arctic route and impact on the traditional routes,it will be a great opportunity for the ports in the Arctic route economic circle.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out the research on the Arctic route economic circle from the perspective of ports.In the traditional port evaluation method,the weight of port scale,port throughput and other indicators is relatively large.However,the ports in the Arctic route economic circle are more affected by the traditional routes.It is misleading to refer to the current port operation data.Therefore,this paper chooses the location advantage model to analyze the Arctic route economic circle The specific research is as follows: 1.analyze the natural conditions and trade potential of the Arctic route,clarify the necessity of the formation of the Arctic route economic circle,restate the concept of the Arctic route economic circle and define its coverage;2.adjust the location advantage model according to the characteristics of the port,and set the network density of the port hinterland,the influence degree of traffic trunk lines,the influence degree of cities,and the influence degree of shipping routes According to the relevant principles,69 ports in the Arctic route economic circle are selected as the research ports;3.each index and the final location advantage of the port in the Arctic route economic circle are calculated and analyzed,and the level of port location advantage is divided by cluster analysis;the results of port location advantage are analyzed Based on the analysis of autocorrelation between ports,combined with the spatial distribution characteristics of ports and the level of port location advantage,the development potential of each region is judged.The results show that: 1.the regionalization characteristics of the port location advantage index in the Arctic route economic circle are obvious,the land direction index of the east coast of the United States and the low latitude ports in Europe performs better,and the sea direction index of the Northeast Asia and the high latitude ports in Europe performs better;2.the location advantage of the ports in the eastern part of the United States,Northeast Asia and some important hub ports in Western Europe is the highest,and the location advantage of the ports in Europe is the highest From south to north,the overall distribution pattern of degree is "low high low",and the location advantage of ports in and around the Arctic Circle is the lowest;3.the spatial distribution of the location advantage of ports in the Arctic route economic circle presents a certain aggregation phenomenon,in which the sea direction index is obvious,and the influence degree of communication trunk line in the land direction index is random distribution;4.ports in Western Europe and North America form a core aggregation phenomenon In order to undertake Arctic cargo flow,Nordic ports gather at low value,which is not conducive to the development of Arctic routes.However,Northeast Asia has not formed an obvious clustering phenomenon,which may face fierce competition in the future.Finally,combined with the analysis results of China’s Arctic policy and port location advantage,some policy suggestions are put forward.
