Impact Of Arctic Route Navigation On Port Logistics Development Of Shanghai

In recent years,the Arctic ice has been melting faster and faster in the context of global warming.The predictions of various methods by scientists show that around the summer of 2050,sea ice in the Arctic Ocean will be completely melted and ice-free navigation will be achieved.Judging from the current increase in the area of sea ice melting,the time may be earlier.The navigation of the Arctic route will have a major impact on the countries,especially the countries along the Arctic route and the countries of the Arctic,such as their strategies,economy and resources.In July 2017,China and Russia proposed to carry out cooperation on the Arctic routes to jointly create the “ice road on ice”.On January 26,2018,the Chinese government published for the first time a white paper on the Arctic policy,"China’s Arctic Policy," which reflected China’s positive attitude in participating in Arctic activities and the Arctic cooperation.However,the navigation of the Arctic routes will make a major change in the global maritime transportation pattern and will also have a profound impact on the port logistics.Therefore,in this paper,the above seaport was taken as an example to evaluate the influence of the navigation of Arctic routes on the logistics of Shanghai Port.Based on this,based on the SWOT analysis results of port logistics development in Shanghai Port,the logistics of Shanghai Port in the context of Arctic Navigation was proposed.Development countermeasures and suggestions.Firstly,this paper summarizes and collates domestic and international research documents on the Arctic routes and port logistics,and analyzes the navigation prospects of the Arctic routes and the status quo of the development of port logistics at Shanghai Port.Secondly,using the entropy-double-base point method,this paper analyzes the influence of the navigation of the Arctic route on the port logistics of Shanghai Port from the aspects of agglomeration level,transportation capacity and development potential.The results of comparative analysis with sample ports show that the port logistics of Shanghai Port is far superior to other sample ports in terms of agglomeration level and development potential,but its transport capacity is slightly inferior.From the results of the comprehensive analysis,Shanghai Port Logistics still has the unparalleled development potential of other ports in the context of the Arctic navigation.Thirdly,this paper uses SWOT analysis method to summarize the strengths and weaknesses of the logistics development of Shanghai Port and the external opportunities and challenges.Finally,based on empirical analysis results and SWOT analysis results,this paper proposes suggestions on the development of port logistics under the background of Arctic navigation from six aspects: hardware conditions,soft environment,policy support,sustainable development,structural adjustment,and operation methods.Provide reference for the development of other port logistics.
