| With the strengthening of economic vitality and the expansion of city scale,the total amount of urban traffic has grown rapidly.The problem of traffic congestion has also become prominent.The Bus Rapid Transit system(BRT)can promote the benign development of urban transportation.The rationality of station selection directly affects the service level and competitiveness of the Bus Rapid Transit.This paper takes the median double-sided BRT station as the research object and aims to improve the comprehensive time efficiency of arriving passengers and BRT operation.This paper presents an optimization method for station location selection near the intersection.The research results mainly include the following aspects:(1)Analyze related theories and characteristics of BRT stations.It is pointed out that the Chinese-style BRT station form is more suitable for the future development of the domestic BRT system.In addition,the travel time of the arriving passengers and the running time of BRT vehicles in a measurement unit are selected as the factors that influence the site selection of the near intersection.(2)Establish the running time model of BRT vehicles and the passing time model of passengers arriving at the station respectively,and assign weights to the two index factors.With the goal of optimizing the comprehensive time efficiency,the optimal location model of the median double-sided BRT station near the intersection based on the optimal time efficiency is established.Use fuzzy analytic hierarchy process to select the weight values of the two indicators in the objective function.Using genetic algorithm to find the buffer distance of the station with the best time efficiency located at the upstream or downstream of the intersection.Using mathematical and physical formulas to calculate the supplementary distance in a unit of measurement.Finally,the optimal location scheme of the median double-sided BRT station near the intersection that meets the optimal time efficiency in a measurement unit is proposed.(3)Select Huanggang Road Station of BRT1 Line in Jinan City as an example for optimization.Use the solving algorithm to get the time efficiency of different weights in the model.It was found that the higher the weight value of the BRT running time in a measurement unit,the lower the weight value of the passenger’s walking time,and the longer buffer distance when the optimal time efficiency is met.After optimization,the station should be set downstream of the intersection: when only considering the passenger transit time of the station,the buffer distance is 0m,and the time efficiency is the same as the current status;when the buffer distance is ≤ 21 m,the optimized time efficiency is higher than the current time efficiency 10%;When the buffer distance range is 22 ~ 30 m,the time efficiency is increased by 20%;when the buffer distance range is 31 ~ 34 m,the time efficiency is increased by 30%;when only the BRT running time is considered,the time efficiency is optimal when the buffer distance is 36 m,An increase of 40%.By actually investigating the ratio between the number of passengers on the vehicle and the number of passengers arriving at the station,it is recommended to choose to set 22~30m downstream of the intersection.The innovation of the thesis is mainly to propose a method for optimizing the location of double-sided BRT stations near intersections based on time efficiency.First,establish a time-benefit model,and then use fuzzy analytic hierarchy process and genetic algorithm to find the site location and the specific buffer distance that meet the optimal time efficiency. |
