Human Factor Analysis And Design Strategy Of Color In Underground Public Space Of Subway Station

With the continuous development of the city,more and more people pay attention to the use of urban underground space,people also put forward new requirements for the color of subway station.The color of the station space not only needs to meet the basic functional needs of passengers,but also needs to create comfortable aesthetic enjoyment for passengers through the application of basic color theory.At present,most of the domestic and foreign studies on subway station space are about the comfort of sound,light,heat and other physical environment,while the research on color and other aesthetic aspects is not enough.On the one hand,the current studies of color environment also limit to subjective qualitative analysis.The basic theory of chromology is not combined with the internal environment design of subway station and human factor analysis.The current studies also lack systematic quantitative analysis about the present situation of color environment.On the other hand,the color directly affects passengers’ experience and feelings.However,in the current research,there is a lack of attention to the user’s perspective and the real psychological feelings of passengers in the environment of color.Based on the basic theories of chromology and human factor analysis,combined with the field investigation of subway stations,this paper adopts the color quantification research method combining mobile eye tracker and questionnaire survey.First of all,based on the fieldwork of color,this paper analyzes the physical status of the color in subway station from the three aspects of color type,color proportion and color composition.,generalizes and summarizes the common law of color application in built subway stations.According to the basic principles of color design,the common problems in color environment design are put forward,and corresponding countermeasures are put forward respectively,in order to avoid design defects in the actual color design of subway station.At the same time,based on human factor analysis,this paper adheres to the human-oriented core idea of subway station color design,and pays attention to passengers’ psychological perception of color environment.Eye tracker is used to carry out mobile human factor engineering monitoring.The visual physiological index monitoring of wearable eye tracker can dynamically and real-time monitor the whole process of station passengers’ visual behavior,and collect the visual physiological data of the testers,so as to grasp their psychological perception characteristics.In addition,the questionnaire is used to collect the evaluation level of the subway station’s color,and the psychological perception of the passengers is studied.Finally,the paper analyzes the attention and interest areas of passengers’ visual observation and their satisfaction with the current color of the subway station,summarizes the key design areas and key color application elements of the subway station color design,and gives full consideration to people’s needs while solving the color design of the station environment with complex functions.Based on the color design practice project of Huizhou Avenue station of Hefei Rail transit Line 6,this paper compares the color design principle and design method of the station,starts from the design of basic color and decorative color,and carries out the specific design from the three aspects of color type,color proportion and color composition.Integrate the ground,wall,ceiling and other spatial color elements.According to the difference of color scheme,two sets of color scheme are designed.In addition,the eye tracker experiment is used to compare the two color schemes and obtain the visual physiological data of passengers on different color schemes.Finally,a color design scheme that is coordinated and unified as a whole,rich and diverse in parts,meets the needs of passengers and adapates to spatial functions was obtained.The color scheme provides passengers with aesthetic enjoyment,provides multi-level sensory experience for the visual environment,and provides human-oriented color scheme for the subway station.It avoids the color environment monotonous and lack of identification,the absence of color management and serious color pollution and other problems.It is hoped that the study of this paper can provide reference for the future color design of domestic subway station.
