With the gradual increase of interdependence among the economies of the world,homogeneous competition is becoming increasingly serious;many industries are facing market saturation.Enterprises usually implement "Expanding resources and reducing expenditure" to ensure basic incomes.When it is difficult to make a breakthrough in Expanding resources in a relatively saturated market,At this time,Reducing expenditure is the most effective and direct cost reduction activity,and the core of cost reduction is to reduce procurement costs.ALF is no exception.For example,It is hoped that through a series of breakthroughs in procurement management and related business activities,the procurement cost can be finally reduced.However,the disadvantages of traditional procurement management are frequently highlighted in diversified market competition,which cannot promote enterprises to achieve the expectation of cost reduction and efficiency increase.Therefore,how to establish a supplier management system that meets the actual needs of the company is particularly important.This paper analyzes the supplier management system and business process of ALF auto Parts Company from multiple dimensions.Firstly,it expounds the current situation and existing problems of ALF Company’s procurement management.On this basis,the supplier selection evaluation index system of ALF Company is redesigned by the combination of expert evaluation method and analytic hierarchy process(AHP),and five new index items are obtained,namely cost control,R & D capability,quality control,manufacturing management and delivery rate.Then,the weight of each index is determined by AHP and linear weight method,so as to get a new set of supplier selection evaluation index system.Finally,the system is applied to the sensor supplier selection of the newly developed Ford c490 project of ALF Company.In order to implement the system smoothly,the implementation plan and corresponding safeguard measures are put forward.Through the research on the supplier selection of ALF auto parts company,optimizing the supplier selection evaluation index system and clarifying its implementation strategy are of great significance to improve the supplier evaluation system of ALF company and optimize its procurement management,so as to reduce the cost,ensure the product quality,improve the response speed and enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises.At the same time,it can also provide some references for other manufacturing enterprises,including auto parts,to support the upstream and downstream cooperation and collaborative operation of the company’s supply chain,so as to achieve the purpose of reducing cost and increasing efficiency.
