The Research On Open Space Of Campus Buildings In Contemporary China

Accompanied with the enrollment expanding and amalgamate among universities of late years, university campus has been widely developed, not only on its dimension, but also on the quantity of its buildings. The open space of campus buildings improved along with it. One of the reasons behind is the gradual diminish of economic restrictions, set aside a lot more space for the architect to project. What's more important is that the transformation of education pattern and the diversification of knowledge diffusion manner. Undoubtedly the thirst for natural environment push forward the development of open space in university campus largely.This thesis explored the cause of campus open space development from four aspects which are social, education pattern, environmental psychology and the theory of environmental behavior, furthermore the significancy of open space to university campus and the evolution trend has been concluded in this paper. The whold content can be divided into five parts:The first part narrate the cognition of the topic for discussion. It starts from the background and significance of the research, then difine the range of investigation together with relative conception, ended with basic method and priciple frame of the research.The second part discribe the analysis of exterior environment among campus open space. This chapter date back the situation of conversion from close to open among society , education and campus.The third chapter explain the relationship between environment, deed and open space, then advance it to the character of open space configuration.The fourth circle around the measure of how to construct open space and the keypoint when design.The last section probe into the quantum study on open space, discussed the problem on scale bring forward the idea of open quotiety of space and structure. Combinated with practical examples this paper analyzed the idea in conclusion.
