Research On The Strategy Of Improving The Vitality Of Leftover Spaces Based On The "Urban Acupuncture"

In recent years,the improvement of rural living environment has been a key issue of national concern.Due to unreasonable planning and construction in the early stages of rural areas,as well as imperfect rural governance systems,some leftover spaces have gradually emerged in rural areas.The planner did not consider the landscape creation of the space from a micro perspective,resulting in a mismatch between the overall planning and the actual situation,and problems with the edge fitting rate of the spatial connection.In the process of rural construction,the improvement and renovation of rural living environment is an important link in achieving rural revitalization.However,the existence of leftover spaces hinders and damages the construction of livable rural areas,and even leads to the loss of local style and regional culture.Leftover space is a space that cannot be abandoned and can be reactivated in rural areas.Through appropriate and reasonable landscape transformation,it can once again become a valuable area,avoiding the destruction of spatial practicality and environmental aesthetics.This paper explores the practicality of the research idea of “urban acupuncture” in the landscape activation design of rural leftover spaces.The article interprets the current situation of the rural leftover spaces in China from the network data and on-site investigations,and to make clear the problems of the leftover spaces in the aspects of the interaction between people and space,space utilization and environmental aesthetics.Based on the theory of urban acupuncture,the strategy of activating and renewing urban acupuncture in a small scale and progressive leftover space is proposed.The article first elaborates on the background,content,purpose,and significance of the research,defines relevant concepts and research scope,and summarizes the current research status at home and abroad,determines the research methods and framework,and elaborates on the innovative points of this article’s research.Secondly,the main research content is rural leftover space,which elaborates on its relationship with rural areas,causes analysis,spatial types,and spatial characteristics.Next,the article explored the application research of urban acupuncture theory in the rural leftover space,and through the discussion of the suitability of urban acupuncture theory in the promotion of rural leftover space vitality,then determined the application goal and application principle of acupuncture type vitality promotion,and proposed the acupuncture type activation design strategy of point,line and plane leftover space.Then,according to the elements of "acupuncture",the operation methods of landscape space and cultural elements are proposed to enhance the feasibility of space activation.Once again,the article will apply the proposed activation strategy to Yuanjiawan Village,Xiguoyuan Town,Lanzhou City,Gansu Province,Based on this,we conducted an analysis of the strategy to enhance the vitality of the leftover space in Yuanjiawan Village under the guidance of the "urban acupuncture".Finally,we established the main theme of the activation and renewal of the leftover space through the space creation of the physical space and the design molding of the intangible space in Yuanjiawan Village,and gave an intentional design plan.Finally,we obtained the governance and maintenance of the following multiple subjects of the leftover space in rural areas,so as to avoid the destruction of the living environment caused by the re emergence of the abnormal space.
