China’s prosperity is inseparable from the construction of infrastructure,and construction enterprises are an important supporting force of China’s construction industry.The development and growth of construction enterprises can promote China from a large construction country to a strong construction country.However,the characteristics of China’s construction enterprises are that they require a lot of resources and investment,are labor-intensive,and lack innovation.In the new era of market economy and changes in the international situation,the innovative transformation of China’s construction enterprises will drive the high-quality development of the construction industry.This article takes Hunan Maotian Construction Engineering Co.,Ltd.as the research object,and aims to analyze how China’s construction enterprises should adapt to the market and national policy needs through transformation and development under the current social and economic environment.This article forms the theoretical basis of this article by summarizing the related theoretical results of corporate strategy and strategic transformation.Using PEST,Porter’s five forces model and SWOT model to analyze the exogenous environment facing Maotian Construction.Then analyze the endogenous environmental factors such as Maotian Construction’s existing resources and capabilities,and Using the analysis method of combining the strategic transformation RCSP research path and SWOT model to get the company’s transformation and development direction: from a single water conservancy and hydropower business to a diversif ied business;Cater to the national policy to develop eco-green building;from extensive management model to digital operation transformation and development.In the process of transformation and development,Maotian Construction should expand its non-water conservancy and hydropower business.Adopt cost leadership strategy to do a good job in cost forecasting and contract management,and control costs during project implementation.Promote ERP information system and BIM technology for digital upgrade.Simultaneously implement multiple strategies to realize the innovative development of Maotian Construction.The research innovation of this paper uses the RCSP research paradigm path method of strategic transformation to study the factors that influence the co mpany’s transformation and development due to the motivation of corporate strategic transformation,exogenous environment,and endogenous environment.It is concluded that the transformation and development of enterprises should adopt the strategy of simultaneous external sustainable transformation and internal sustainable transformation dual-track system transformation.It aims to provide more valuable strategic thinking for China’s construction enterprises on the road of transformation and development.
