Railway gondola car is the main equipment for transporting all kinds of bulk materials in China.Because of its wide range of application and strong versatility,it is an important part of railway freight transportation.Dumper is an important unloading equipment for railway and port transportation.It is mainly used to dump all kinds of bulk materials transported by gondola trucks.It is mainly used in ports,power plants,steel plants,cement plants and other places.With the rapid progress of science and technology and the rapid development of the times,the demand for various bulk materials in all walks of life is gradually increasing,the tipping operation of dumper is more and more frequent,and the load on gondola car is more and more frequent in the tipping process.The excessive inward bending moment on the side column of gondola car will cause irreversible damage to the car body steel structure,Therefore,it is necessary to study the magnitude and variation law of the inward bending moment of the column in the tipping process of the car dumper.The stress analysis and stress calculation of gondola side column can provide useful reference for avoiding the damage of steel structure.In this paper,C70 is taken as the research object,and the static analysis method is used to analyze the load on the side column of the car dumper in the process of dumping materials with different densities and at different overturning angles,so as to determine the load on the side column of the gondola car;The simplified three-dimensional model of C70 gondola car body is established by using Solid Works,and the relevant boundary conditions are set.The finite element model is established by meshing with Hyper Mesh.Finally,the simulation analysis of gondola car under different working conditions is carried out by using ANSYS,and the stress distribution nephogram of side column under different working conditions is obtained,The inclination moment of the column is deduced from the stress results.According to the analysis results,when the turnover angle of the car dumper is 45 degrees,the maximum stress and the total bending moment of the side column are 97.38 MPa and 166.30 kn · m,respectively;With the increase of material density and mass,the stress and total bending moment of the side column increase.
