The term "eight scenic spots"(well-known around the eight scenic spots,ten scenic spots,twelve scenic spots,etc.are "eight scenic spots" category)is mostly found in the famous scenic spots,which is a collection of natural and humanistic landscapes in a specific area since a certain time and space has become a habit.The name.At present,while urbanisation and economicisation are growing at a high speed,the regional characteristics of cultural landscapes in some areas are showing a trend of dilution,and there are different degrees of convergence in aesthetics and tonality.This paper takes the eight scenic spots of Lanzhou in the Qing Dynasty-"Dragon Spring Waterfall","White Pagoda with Mountains","River Tower with a Far View","Lotus Pond with Moonlight","Pear Garden with Flowers","Smoke and Rain in Lanshan","Ancient Temple with Morning Bell","Hongqiao with Spring Rise","Cloudy Tail" and "Horse-tail with Wind and Snow" as the objects of study.The study of the "White Pagoda","Lotus Pond"and "Dragon Spring Waterfall" is based on the selection of the site,spatial sequence,creation techniques and vegetation matching.The purpose of this study is to summarise the landscape ideas of the Eight Views of Lanzhou in the Qing Dynasty,and on this basis,based on the current context and demands,to transform the landscape ideas into practical and applicable technical guidance,and to apply them to the optimisation of modern gardens.While ensuring that the rigid needs of the audience of the Little West Lake Park in terms of function,rest and enjoyment can be met,the "eight scenes" of Lanzhou in the Qing Dynasty are applied to the landscape,so that the traditional landscape techniques of the regional cultural landscape can be inherited and developed,helping the local "eight scenes" of Lanzhou "The project will help to promote and spread the culture of Lanzhou.Firstly,based on the background of the development of Lanzhou’s "Eight Views",this paper compares the formation and development of Lanzhou’s "Eight Views" and summarises the three major external factors that influence Lanzhou’s "Eight Views",namely Environmental factors,social factors and humanistic factors.On this basis,the surviving humanistic landscape artisans of the "Eight Views" of Lanzhou in the Qing Dynasty are analysed and interpreted,and the landscape artisans of the "Eight Views" of Lanzhou in the Qing Dynasty are summarised in conjunction with literature and history,and the summarised landscape artisans are applied to Lanzhou Xiaoxihu Park(formerly the "Eight Views").The landscape masters are then applied to the design of the optimisation and renovation of the landscape of Lanzhou Xiaoxihu Park(formerly known as the "Eight Views").The guidance for contemporary cultural landscape construction provided by the eight landscape masters of Lanzhou in the Qing Dynasty is mainly reflected in the research,application and innovation of the eight landscape masters.Therefore,research on the culture,aesthetics and landscape of the traditional ’Eight Views’ in Lanzhou will help to improve the theoretical system of the ’Eight Views’ and provide a theoretical basis for the protection and construction of the local cultural landscape.The analysis of the site,space,environment,architecture,composition,vegetation and context will not only enrich the connotation of Lanzhou’s ’Eight Views’ culture,but also serve as a reference and guide for the construction and development of Lanzhou’s regional cultural landscape.
