Research On Efficiency Measurement And Collaborative Development Strategy Of Liaoning Port Group

In order to effectively integrate port resources in the region,build a high-quality comprehensive port transportation hub,and better play the role of ports in the economic development of the hinterland,China has started port integration activities at the provincial level.Since 2006,Liaoning Province,Jiangsu Province,Hainan Province,Hebei Province,Shandong Province,Zhejiang Province and other provinces have successively completed port integration activities,and the port groups in the region have made significant improvements in the construction of collection and distribution system,hinterland cargo source competition,port service quality and other aspects.Among them,Liaoning coastal port as the northeast region of the sea hub,port integration activities are of great significance to the port itself and the economic development of the hinterland.Therefore,this thesis should consider the operation of Liaoning coastal ports(Port belonging to Liaoning Port Group Co.,Ltd.)before and after the integration of efficiency and ecological niche,and put forward the integrated and coordinated development strategy of Liaoning coastal ports while discovering problems.Firstly,based on the analysis of the development of Liaoning coastal ports over the years,this thesis summarizes the business structure,business mode and main problems faced by Liaoning coastal ports.Secondly,the efficiency measurement and ecological niche measurement model of Liaoning coastal ports are constructed,and the efficiency of port input and output is judged from the two dimensions of "quality" and "quantity" of net profit and cargo throughput,and the reasons for the efficiency status of each port are analyzed.Third,ecological niche theory is applied to analyze the overlap of niche width and niche before and after the integration of coastal ports in Liaoning,and the reasons for their changes are analyzed.Fourth,on the basis of port efficiency measurement and ecological niche measurement,according to the principles of increasing output when input,reducing input at certain time,and characteristic port ecological niche,countermeasures and suggestions that can promote the integrated and coordinated development of Liaoning coastal ports are proposed.The main conclusions of this thesis are as follows: 1.Through the measurement of the input-output efficiency of Liaoning coastal ports from 2013 to 2022,it is confirmed that Liaoning coastal port integration has a significant effect on improving port efficiency in the region,and since the integration of Liaoning coastal ports in 2017,the efficiency of each port has shown a fluctuating upward trend,among which port scale efficiency and technical efficiency have a significant impact on port efficiency.2.After the integrated operation of Liaoning coastal ports,the ecological niche width of each port can be significantly improved,and the ecological niche overlap of each port can be reduced.3.Starting from the reconstruction of the functional positioning of the port,combined with the advantages of port enterprises and the economic development of the hinterland,the functional layout of Liaoning coastal ports can be reconstructed,and the operational efficiency of each port can be improved to the maximum efficiency.4.The results also show that the sustainable and healthy development of port enterprises should pay attention to the development of "quality" and "quantity" of port operations.
