| With the growing development of China’s international trade,as well as the increase in the volume of international cargo transportation and the improvement of global integration,the cargo throughput of China’s major ports is also increasing.However,the current unidirectional channel port resources are difficult to meet the growing demand for ship arrivals,leading to channel congestion and berth shortage in many ports.Due to the narrowness of one-way channel,ships can only navigate in one direction,in order to ensure the safety of navigation,it is necessary to divide the process of one-way channel in and out of the port into multiple time periods and take turns according to the plan,this scheduling method increases the complexity of the management of the ships in the one-way channel.In actual port operations,delays of ships due to weather and other reasons often occur,which will affect the schedule of subsequent ships arriving at the port.Often,once the length of the delay is determined,the original plan for ships entering and leaving the port needs to be adjusted to minimize the waiting time of the ships in the port.Therefore,in the context of increasingly busy ports,timely readjustment of the ship’s entry and exit channel sequence and berth allocation to minimize the impact of ship delays has become an urgent research issue.Firstly,this paper introduces the research background through a literature review,and provides a comprehensive review of the optimized sequence of entering and exiting ports,unidirectional channel-related operations,berth allocation and other port operation-related studies.Secondly,this paper further introduces the entry/exit process and entry/exit switching principle of ships in unidirectional fairways,analyzes various factors affecting the scheduling of ship entry/exit,establishes a reasonable mathematical model with the optimization objective of minimizing the cost of waiting at anchorage and fairway as well as the cost of replacing berths of ships,and explains the set parameters and constraints in detail.In view of the characteristics of the problem of the sequence of ships entering and leaving the port,the improved genetic algorithm is used to solve the problem,and the performance of the improved genetic algorithm is compared and analyzed to ensure its effectivenessFinally,the results of the arithmetic example experimental study verify the effectiveness of the model and the excellent performance of the algorithm.This paper provides solution ideas for the problem of long waiting time of arriving ships in one-way channel ports caused by ship delay,and at the same time provides certain reference for berth allocation. |
