Research On Characteristics Of Traditional Architecture In Zhaotong,Yunnan

Zhaotong is located in the northeast of Yunnan province,closely connected with Sichuan and Guizhou.It is known as the "cockcrow heard in three provinces" and the heart of the southwest of China.As an important part of the "ancient southwest silk road",various business and tourism cultures flourished and developed here,which played an important role in promoting the formation and development of residential settlements,and at the same time promoted the formation and development of a large number of temples,shrines,academies,halls and other architectural types.In terms of culture,it is deeply influenced by Bashu culture,central plains culture,Yunnan culture,Qiongdu culture and Yelang culture.The traditional architecture also shows the blend of diverse cultures,which is full of unique cultural flavor and cultural deposits.this paper,from the perspective of the traditional thoughts,folk culture and way of life,combined with the local special climate,geography,humanities environment,studies the plane pattern of traditional architecture,architectural features,materials used,decorative art cultural features of many aspects,summarizes the construction characteristics and value,provide suggestions for the protection and development of traditional architecture.This paper is mainly carried out from the following five parts:The first part starts from the origin of the topic and the research background,discusses the research purpose and significance of the topic,defines the research scope,defines the research method,classifies and summarizes the research content,and sorts out the theoretical framework based on the research status and related concepts at home and abroad.The second part starts from the natural geographical environment and historical and cultural background of Zhaotong,explains the development process of traditional Zhaotong architecture in detail,sorts out the development situation and formation process of traditional Zhaotong architecture,and lays a theoretical foundation for the following part.The third part classifies and elaborates the traditional buildings with different functions and properties in Zhaotong.Combined with a large number of field investigations,it sorts out the typical representative traditional buildings in each region,and summarizes their layout characteristics,cultural characteristics and protection status.The fourth part explains the spatial form,framework system and building materials of traditional Zhaotong architecture in detail.Through comparative analysis,it clarifies the development of Zhaotong traditional architecture and summarizes their cultural characteristics and values.The fifth part classifies the stone carving,wood carving and painted art in traditional architecture,sorts out their structural features,decorative significance and humanistic characteristics,and finally summarizes the cultural value and economic value contained in traditional Zhaotong architecture.
