Protection Development Design And Application Of Wuxi Ninchang Ancient Town In Chongqing

In recent years,under the background of rural revitalization and the strategy of building a beautiful China,China’s traditional ancient towns and villages have been given development opportunities.Historical and cultural towns are an important part of China’s cultural material heritage,they have witnessed the changes of the times,carrying rich regional culture and history,traditional ancient towns with their unique regional characteristics and historical research value,reflect and constitute important factors of China’s diverse culture.China’s vast territory,thick historical and cultural atmosphere,distributed many historical ancient towns with rich cultural connotations,but in the rapid modernization process,the development of ancient towns has more problems,such as serious commercial atmosphere,or due to capital and geographical location factors caused by its development is hindered,culture gradually lost.How to balance the relationship between modernization and traditional culture has become a key topic of discussion among relevant scholars in recent years.Ningchang Ancient Town has precious Baoyuan Mountain salt spring and natural environment,and has been influenced by Wuyan culture and Wuxian culture since ancient times,giving birth to a unique ancient town style.The salt spring of Baoyuan Mountain provided the material foundation for the development of the ancient town,so a variety of cultural customs and folk wisdom were born.In a period of time,the ancient town gathered tens of thousands of people,the residents of the ancient town relied on the Houxi River for transportation,the commerce was extremely prosperous,with the saying of "ten thousand stoves of salt smoke",and its settlement formation laid the historical culture.Today’s Ningchang Ancient Town is used as a carrier of traditional culture.With the process of modernization and the changing needs of local residents,the traditional historical style has been eroded,and the past has not flourished.In view of the historical value and existing status of Ningchang Ancient Town,analyzing the utilization value of the ancient town and stimulating the vitality of the ancient town to achieve its effective protection and rational utilization are the key to this discussion.This thesis selects Ningchang Ancient Town of Wuxi County,Chongqing as the research object,and explores the ancient town through literature review,case comparison,questionnaire survey,field research and other research methods,mainly including the excavation of the traditional historical context of Ningchang Ancient Town,the analysis of spatial regional characteristics,the discovery of the current situation of the ancient town,and the suggestions for the protection and reuse development of the ancient town.This thesis will be developed in five parts.The first chapter is to summarize the research background,related concepts,research status and research significance at home and abroad,and determine the research content;The second chapter summarizes the historical evolution,material and intangible culture and regional characteristics of Ningchang Ancient Town based on history.Chapter 3summarizes the cases of excellent ancient town renovation in China,and summarizes their successes and extracts references.The fourth chapter first sorts out the landscape elements and related policies of the natural environment,artificial environment and human environment of Ningchang Ancient Town,analyzes the existing status of architectural space,public activity space,ecological space,infrastructure and folk customs of Ningchang Ancient Town,and then conducts a questionnaire to comprehensively understand the problems of the ancient town and evaluate its development conditions.The fifth chapter puts forward the guiding ideology and develops principles and strategies based on the above analysis results.According to the development of the ancient town,the design positioning,concept and goal are put forward,the overall planning practice of Ningchang Ancient Town is formed,the balance of modernization and traditional culture is coordinated,and the sustainable development of Ningchang Town is realized,and it also provides reference for the protective development and design of Ningchang Ancient Town.
