The primary purpose of an enterprise’s R&D is to maintain a sustainable and profitable development of the enterprise.The essence of the R&D process is the process of transforming customer demand points into product function points.R&D management is an important part of the enterprise management system and an important symbol of the innovation management ability of the enterprise.With the continuous development of digital technologies represented by 5G,cloud.AI,and big data."Customer-centrist" is no longer a slogan or a concept.The R&D management system of a modern enterprise must not only ensure that products,services and experiences can meet customer needs in the entire product life cycle,but also enable the enterprise itself to continuously improve R&D efficiency and reduce R&D costs,which directly determines the innovation capability and operation of the enterprise.Efficiency can not only help gain market opportunities,but also have cost advantages.DF power company belongs to the power system automation industry.It is a large-scale high-tech enterprise integrating product research,development,production and sales.Its products involve the development,transmission,transformation,distribution and use of smart grids.This thesis takes DF Power Company as the research object,and systematically expounds the current situation of DF power Company’s R&D management system,analyzes the problems of the R&D management system from three perspectives:R&D strategic management,R&D process management and R&D project management,and identifies the reasons for the above problems of DF Power Company through interview method,process analysis and data analysis.In recent years,DF Power’s new technologies and new products have not kept up with the development of the industry,and the implementation effect of R&D strategy is poor:In terms of R&D process management,there are problems such as long product development cycle,waste of resources,and poor product quality;In terms of R&D project management.there are problems such as insufficient willingness of business departments to establish projects,delays in R&D projects,and lack of capable project managers.Based on DF Power’s industry background and current situation,this thesis optimizes DF Power’s R&D management system and puts forward the implementation guarantee measures for the optimization plan with the help of R&D management theory,integrated product development management theory,process optimization theory and the practice of excellent management mode of various enterprises.The optimization scheme of this thesis has been practiced in DF Power Company for nearly a year.From the perspective of product strategy implementation,R&D project improvement and team atmosphere change,DF Power’s R&D process has been greatly improved,which better supports the sustainable and profitable development of the enterprise.
