At present,our country is in the stage of moving towards high quality economic development,the economic structure is in the transition and upgrading,the domestic construction market was affected by it,the number of construction enterprises,especially the number of infrastructure construction enterprises has been increasing,the current construction enterprises face more fierce market competition,and there is severe survival and development pressure.In the complex and changeable market environment,whether Z Company can break the rigid thinking,improve the operating efficiency,seize the opportunity and achieve good development requires the planning and adjustment of the enterprise’s competitive strategy,so as to obtain long-term competitive advantages and point out the direction for the enterprise’s growing growth.First,the external environment of Z company was analyzed from two aspects:macro environment and industrial environment.PEST analysis is used to analyze the macro environment of Z Company from the four aspects of political and legal environment,economic environment,social environment and technical environment,Porter’s five forces competition model is used to analyze the industry environment,and then use the external factor evaluation(EFE)matrix to analyze the enterprise in the current environment of the opportunity and threat factors.Found that the company has good opportunities in the field of new infrastructure,especially in the smart transportation,new energy,water conservancy,urban renewal and other aspects of policy benefits;In the situation of industry competition,it is most threatened by the intensified industry competition,the lack of labor resources,the material market fluctuation,the negotiation ability of the owners and other aspects.Secondly,the internal factor evaluation matrix(IFE)is used to analyze the internal environment of the company.It is found that Z company has the advantages of perfect management system,stable customer resources,more strategic customers,and so on.At the same time,there are also shortcomings such as the decline of the overall profitability of the enterprise and the narrow market layout.Finally,SWOT analysis is made on the company based on its mission,vision and business objectives,and it is found that the company should adhere to low-cost operation in the future development,improve operation efficiency and constantly improve project profitability by strengthening basic management,so as to ensure the healthy growth and development of the company.Therefore,it chooses the competitive strategy of cost leadership as the main strategy and differentiation strategy as the secondary strategy,and formulates safeguard measures from the aspects of perfecting the company’s management system,optimizing the cost management,optimizing the organizational structure,improving the utilization rate of funds,optimizing the market layout,and improving the human resources management to ensure the smooth progress of the strategy.The purpose of this study is to develop the competitive strategy of enterprises,improve the competitiveness of enterprises in the current fierce competition environment,can promote the strategic upgrading and transformation of enterprises,increase the economic benefits of enterprises,and promote the sustainable and healthy development of enterprises.Meanwhile,the research of this paper has certain reference significance for the trade enterprises or state-owned enterprises,and also has certain reference value for the strategic management of other construction enterprises and healthy development of the enterprise.
