Since emergence in 1980s,China’s Geotechnical Material industry scale has grown to 1,200 enterprises,and the compound market growth rate is 13.75%for the past 5 years,looking into a CNY 80 billion market in 2025.Contrary to the fast booming macro market trends,TH Enterprise’s revenue and market share have been continuously dropping,due to market maturation,tightened policies,fierce competition and impact from COVID.For a 20 years veteran like TH Enterprise,those challenges put up discussions of how to adapt to competition and market revolution,and transition from empirical to scientific management.Along with the integration of informatization and industrialization,Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued Construction Guide for Intelligent Manufacturing Standard System in Building Materials Industry(Version 2021)on 13 January,2022,based on Digital Transformation Action Plan for Intelligent Manufacturing in Building Materials Industry(2021-2023)and Guidelines for the Construction of National Intelligent Manufacturing Standard System(Version 2021),which enforced new standard and requirements,and became an important qualification required by potential clients.Digitalized operation process became a necessity and it poses a big change for TH Enterprise who has much relied on manual operations in the past.Geotechnical metrical plays a more and more important role in China’s economy and the demand continues to grow with the construction of basic infrastructures.Shipping process is a key part for the whole process,and redundancy and low proficiency are prevalent issues in this process.This research is focused on organizational process and practice,assessed the current status with PEMM model.The research chose optimization of the shipping process as a pilot and did feasibility analysis via ASME method.A series of repeatable standards for the process optimization are formed,using ESEIA method and modem informatization techniques.It’s very meaning for enterprise to improve innovation,to lower cost and enhance efficiency,and to sustainable develop.
