At the beginning of rolling off the production line for Motorcycle Type X of Company A, its truck appears water leakage phenomenon, which not only seriously affects the acceptance rate of product, but also directly affects the operation of the production plant.This paper applies the PDCA cycle to find multiple reasons for this phenomenon, solves water leakage problem of the car's boot through management process improvement, and eventually establishes a complete set of quality management flow. This paper does research on the quality management process improvement for water leakage problem in Motorcycle Type X's boot based on the PDCA cycle, with the PDCA cycle as a basis, uses Pareto diagram, histogram, check list, fishbone diagram, the 6M process quality management and other methods, complies with four phases and eight steps of the PDCA cycle to find out all causes of the problem, thereby improves them one by one and solves them once and for all.The specific methods and steps are: In the P stage(planning stage), first step uses Pareto diagram analysis method, check list analysis method, histogram analysis method and data hierarchy analysis method to make a preliminary analysis on the problem that arises; second step uses fishbone diagram to full display each workshop's process and look for links and causes of the existing problem; third step uses 6M process quality management method, from person, machine, material, method, link and other aspects to carry out the reverse analysis to finally find out the root cause of the problem; step 4 uses "5W1H" method to advance improvement matters all round without missing to achieve the optimization of the improvement effect. In the D stage(execution stage), fifth step makes some detailed introduction on how to perform and operate. In the C phase(check phase), step 6 uses check list analysis method and histogram analysis method to confirm the improvement effect and summarize the improvement. In stage A(processing stage), on step 7 and 8, at the same time of solving water leakage problem in Motorcycle Type X's boot, through summing up the successful experiences and failures, the company will carry on the standardization expansion for the related process and optimize the existent drawback of the quality management system within it to improve its overall quality level and brand competitiveness.Company A is in accordance with the PDCA cycle to set up and popularize the quality management process to make the company's management capability strengthened, quality management efficiency enhanced, product quality and level improved, production cost reduced, thereby enhancing the overall competitiveness of the enterprise.
