With the development of social productivity and the improvement of material living standards,emotional value has become the core driver of the enhancement of product market competitiveness.A medical nursing bed,one of the most typical kind of medical devices,is designed with little attention to the emotional experience of the users.And the product life cycle in the current market is getting shorter and shorter,making innovation development and product iteration very difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises with limited resources.Therefore,this dissertation proposes an innovative Kansei design method under the framework of Kansei engineering,taking medical nursing beds as an example,which can guide the design of medical nursing beds with maximum user emotion at low cost and high efficiency by combining the big data requirement collection method with the small sample mapping method.The design method proposed in this dissertation can help designers to accurately grasp the user’s emotional perception in aesthetic design and scientifically guide the design of medical nursing beds.The main research contents and results of this dissertation are:(1)Extracting usable Kansei semantics from big data by Latent Dirichlet Allocation(LDA),which compensates for the subjectivity of data input in traditional Kansei engineering,and finally obtaining three aesthetic design Kansei imagery after screening and clustering,which are affinity factor,quality factor and simplicity factor.(2)The collected samples were deconstructed to obtain a total of 7 types of design features,and then the design features obtained were simplified by applying Rough Sets Theory(RST)to locate 5 key design features for the aesthetic design of medical nursing beds,namely,headboard,handle,guardrail,guardrail hole and mobile wheel;(3)The mapping model between users’ Kansei needs and key design features of the nursing bed was established by Support Vector Regression(SVR),and the design solutions with the highest user satisfaction were obtained by weighting calculations:headboard form 1,handle form 2,guardrail form 2,guardrail hole form 2,and wheel form 1;(4)With the help of obtaining the optimal combination of design features for the aesthetic design of medical nursing beds,the innovative design was completed by combining the designer’s subjective creativity,and the final effect of the design was verified by Kansei evaluation,and the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed method was demonstrated.The method proposed in this study can effectively help small and medium-sized enterprises develop new products by guiding aesthetic design with data assistance,and improve the success rate of product development to market while reducing development costs.
