Research On Optimization Of Urban Spatial Structure Based On Regional Characteristics

After the reform and opening up,China’s economy has developed rapidly,the urbanization process has accelerated significantly,and the spatial structure of cities has undergone significant changes.At the same time,it has also brought about issues such as the convergence of urban regional characteristics.In the long history of development,each city has formed its own urban spatial structure,which plays an important role in continuing the regional characteristics of the city and guiding the rational development of the urban spatial layout.At the same time,the "Planning Outline for the Construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Double City Economic Circle" clearly proposes to take advantage of,highlight characteristics,and coordinate the development of large,medium,and small cities and towns as a guide,and build a new pattern for the development of the double city economic circle.This article is just under the background of the increasingly lack of urban regional characteristics and the construction and development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Double City Economic Circle.It selects Dazu District of Chongqing,which has distinctive regional characteristics in the Chengdu-Chongqing Double City Economic Circle,as the research object,and attempts to explore the interpretation and expression of regional characteristics by the development of Dazu urban spatial structure.This paper first introduces the current research status and level of regional characteristics and urban spatial structure at home and abroad,providing theoretical support for subsequent research.Secondly,it analyzes the development process and evolution rules of Dazu urban space,and summarizes the core issues existing in the development of Dazu urban space.Then,based on this,the impact of three regional characteristics,namely,regional conditions,natural environment,and historical culture,on the spatial development of Dazu City is analyzed and studied.In terms of regional conditions,the advantages and disadvantages of Dazu City in regional urban development are summarized by comparing the regional environment,economic and social,and transportation conditions of Dazu and surrounding cities;In the natural environment,the Arc GIS platform is used to evaluate the suitability of urban construction land in Dazu,and the direction of future spatial development of the city is analyzed based on the evaluation structure;In terms of history and culture,analyze the relationship between Dazu regional culture and urban spatial development,sort out the current distribution of historical relics and historic sites in Dazu,and clarify how Dazu urban space and regional cultural characteristics integrate and develop.Finally,through a comprehensive analysis of these factors affecting regional characteristics,a method of urban space shaping that reflects Dazu’s regional characteristics is proposed,which is synchronized with regional development,coordinated with the natural environment,and combined with human history.The overall development strategy,urban spatial development direction,and functional layout of Dazu City are determined,and a spatial development structure that reflects regional characteristics is established,ultimately forming a rich urban function The overall orderly spatial structure and complete planning layout have enabled Dazu to develop into a key node city of the Chengdu-Chongqing dual city economic circle with unique regional characteristics and charm.
