| With the development of the world economy and the continuous promotion of modernization,the number of escalators is increasing year by year.Escalator is widely used in public infrastructure such as shopping malls,hotels,airports,subway stations and railway stations,bringing convenience to people’s travelling.At the same time,the safety problem of escalators is also accompanied.For example,when the escalator stops running suddenly,pedestrians fall off,children’s rubber sandals are stuck in the steps and skirt boards,and floor covers fall,pedestrians fall into the pit.Numerous cases have drawn more and more attention to safety issues.Based on some investigations and statistics,people found that for the product with moderate or higher complexity,70%problems of the products are caused by the design mistakes,this paper according to the basic theory of design quality management,set design quality problems of A company as an object,through lots of investigations,it is found that lots of design mistakes are caused by missing systematic evaluation,lots of failure happened due to poor quality of DFMEA,and confused quality issue management due to without effective management mechanism.After research and analysis,the improvement plan comes out,include build up the design impaction form,build up the DFMEA Pool and design quality issue management mechanism.In this paper,the research and optimization measures have important implications to A company’s design quality management and continuous improvement,the ultimate goal is to continuously improve the product quality,provide higher safety and comfort for pedestrians’ travel,also provide a reference for other manufacturing enterprises. |
