The landscape characteristics of Tujia settlements are mainly determined by the local natural geographical environment and historical and cultural environment.It is one of the main manifestations of regional landscape characteristics and has important social and economic value,historical and cultural value and landscape value.In recent years,the development of rural areas has accelerated the disappearance of the cultural landscape of Tujia settlements.The ethnic cultural connotation of Tujia settlements has not received enough attention.A more suitable method is needed to protect the cultural landscapes and their genes with great cultural value of Tujia settlements.This paper takes Enshi Tujia settlement as the research object,selects a relatively appropriate number of settlements as the representative,and studies the protection and application mode based on Enshi Tujia settlement cultural landscape and its genes,and hopes to provide a method or mode for the protection and development of other Tujia settlements in Enshi area through the way of seeing the big from the small.Through field investigation and literature analysis and induction,the "feature deconstruction method" is used to conduct comparative analysis and feature deconstruction of the cultural landscape of Enshi Tujia settlement,establish the landscape gene recognition system of Enshi Tujia settlement,extract the cultural landscape gene of Enshi Tujia settlement,and propose the landscape gene protection strategy and application development strategy.The main research contents are as follows: The third chapter analyzes the evolution of the cultural landscape of Tujia settlements in Enshi Tujia areas from three aspects:natural context,historical context and social context through field visits and literature induction and analysis,and finds out the historical origin and overall evolution process of the cultural landscape of Tujia settlements in Enshi;The fourth chapter combs the existing main cultural landscape with local characteristics in Enshi Tujia settlement,divides it into four categories according to the material form: overall settlement,single dwellings,daily appliances and folk customs,analyzes their characteristics respectively,and analyzes the development situation of Enshi Tujia settlement cultural landscape,that is,although there are certain protection measures,the material and intangible cultural landscape are rapidly disappearing;The fifth chapter proposes the method,principle and process of identification and extraction of Tujia settlement cultural landscape genes based on the characteristics and characteristics of ethnic Tujia settlements,and divides the identified landscape genes into four categories: overall settlements,individual dwellings,daily appliances and folk customs,The classification of cultural landscape genes with reference to biological genes is divided into three categories: subject genes,attachment genes and variant genes according to their importance and impact on the overall style of settlements or the lifestyle of indigenous people;The sixth chapter proposes the protection concept of Enshi Tujia settlement cultural landscape gene from the four aspects of the overall culture,the main culture,the secondary culture and multiple cultures,and proposes the protection strategy for the material cultural landscape,folk customs and indigenous people in Enshi Tujia settlement,based on the identification results of Enshi Tujia settlement cultural landscape gene and the development situation facing disappearance,At last,Fengshemi Lake is taken as an example to put forward the application and development strategy based on landscape gene for the villages corresponding to Enshi Tujia settlement.
