Research On Post-modern Landscape Design In Urban Community

Modernist landscape design has the aesthetic characteristics of rationality and order,and occupies a dominant position in contemporary urban landscape design.However,due to the general indifference and rigidity of the form,and the sameness of shapes in the modernist landscape design.As a result,people are constantly looking for new development ideas to modify the shortcomings of modernist landscape design.In this context,postmodern landscape design was born.Although,China is only a developing country,due to the unbalanced development of various regions,such as the developed coastal areas have been highly urbanized,objectively,the level of urban construction is not very different from that of the developed Western countries,coupled with the adoption of the Western modern urban landscape expression,so that China’s urban construction has made remarkable achievements.However,due to the problems in Western modernist design,which were introduced into China along with modernist design,Chinese urban landscape design has made the same mistakes as the West,which also need to be corrected by post-modern landscape design.Therefore,in order to solve the disadvantages of urban community landscape design at home and abroad,postmodern landscape design needs to be introduced into urban communities,and promote the community landscape to become rich and diverse by using postmodern design methods.The details are as follows.First,the origin,related theories and design techniques of postmodern landscape are combed.It is believed that the postmodern landscape design has introduced historical allusions,regional culture,folk art and other elements into the urban community landscape design,so that the urban community landscape construction is complete in function,diverse in form,and pays equal attention to material and spirit.Second,the development process,problems and value proposition of urban community under the background of the new era are summarized and explained.It is concluded that at the beginning of the construction of modern urban communities in China,due to extensive development and blind expansion,the urban landscape has shortcomings in homogenization,and it is necessary to adjust it effectively.Finally,On the one hand,urban community landscape design can explore the source of formal language from nature,life,art and history,and enrich the formal expression by using the strategies of "creation of landscape form","construction of landscape level","change of landscape materials" and "combination of science and technology".On the other hand,designers should fully interpret the historical context,and on this basis,the elements of the context should be appropriated,reconstructed,symbolized and metaphorically,so as to play a role in continuing the historical context.In short,Through the analysis and reference of contemporary advanced postmodernist landscape design experience,combined with the specific characteristics of different communities,we try to find effective solutions,to a certain extent,to meet the aesthetic appreciation and cultural function needs of modern urban community landscapes.
