As the passenger car market becomes increasingly saturated,major domestic vehicle manufacturing enterprises have begun to shift from traditional extensive management mode to lean management mode,in order to further stimulate the vitality of enterprises and achieve high-quality development.As an outstanding enterprise in the field of passenger vehicles,FAW-Volkswagen has gradually upgraded its supply chain management to a strategic level in recent years to flexibly respond to the dynamic changes in the market supply and demand relationship.As an important component of supply chain management,supplier management affects the level of collaborative development of the supply chain,and ultimately affects the competitiveness of enterprises in the market.Therefore,enterprises need to develop appropriate supplier management schemes.Supplier management in the manufacturing industry is mainly divided into two systems based on the use of purchased materials: production procurement and non production procurement.However,previous studies have often paid insufficient attention to non production systems and have not been sufficiently detailed to enable enterprises to obtain competitive advantages from them.This article takes the non production system procurement of FAW-Volkswagen Co.,Ltd.as the business background,and uses relevant knowledge such as supplier relationship management theory,supplier classification management theory,and supplier performance management to optimize its supplier management system and develop a segmentation optimization plan.The article first analyzes the problems existing in the existing non production supplier management of FAW-Volkswagen,analyzes the causes of the problems,and proposes improvement and optimization plans.In terms of supplier classification and grading,the Kraljic model is used to classify 13 primary category groups,and on this basis,supplier grading is developed to develop targeted supplier grading management strategies.In terms of the supplier admission process,a self registration scheme for potential suppliers has been developed to introduce potential suppliers in an open source manner and expand the pool of suppliers.In terms of supplier performance evaluation system,the project performance evaluation scheme is adopted,and AHP analytic hierarchy process is used to determine the primary and secondary indicators of supplier performance evaluation.SPSS software is used to set the weight of the indicators,conduct reliability and validity tests,and develop a set of supplier performance evaluation scheme that conforms to the company’s system,providing a basis for sorting and activating suppliers for existing category groups.By optimizing the supplier management plan for the non production system of FAW-Volkswagen,we are committed to improving the competitiveness of non production system suppliers,increasing the internal vitality of the category group,forming a win-win strategic partnership between FAW-Volkswagen and suppliers,and improving risk prevention and control capabilities.
