| Historical and cultural blocks reflect the characteristics of urban society,economy,geographical environment,and other aspects.They are portraits of the urban landscape during a certain period,and have important historical and cultural value,artistic appreciation value,and scientific investigation value.As a successful example of urban renewal in Guangzhou,the Yongqingfang Historical and Cultural District adopts the "micro modification" urban renewal method.This theory requires that the original historical buildings and street style be maintained as much as possible,and the newly built buildings should correspond to the overall style of the scenic area.Under the limitations of this theory,how to develop tourism products that attract tourists,promote traditional culture,and bring economic benefits to merchants under the limitations of this theory is a major challenge for developers and merchants.This article analyzes the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities,and challenges of tourism resources in the Yongqingfang Historical and Cultural District through on-site investigation,interview method and SWOT analysis.Analyze the development foundation of tourism products in the Yongqingfang Historical and Cultural District,understand the impact of urban regeneration and Yongqingfangtourism development on all parties,and the requirements for micro renovation on Yongqingfang’s historical and cultural district tourism products development,understand the business operation status of merchants,discover tourists’ travel motivation,travel behavior characteristics,and tourism products preferences.Based on the analysis of tourism resources and market,summarize the problems in Yongqingfang’s tourism products.Based on the analysis of tourism resources and market,propose suggestions for the development path,ideas,and strategies of Yongqingfang’s historical and cultural district tourism products from the perspective of urban renewal.This article analyzes the Yongqingfang Historical and Cultural District tourism resources from five aspects: historical architecture,style experience,cultural activities,cuisine,and craft shops.It is found that Yongqingfang Historical and Cultural District has abundant tourism resources,but there is still a certain gap between the development of tourism products in these aspects and the expectations of tourists.Through a questionnaire survey of merchants,tourists,and potential tourists in the Yongqingfang Historical and Cultural District,it was found that the impact of residence,gender,age,occupation,income,and other factors on tourists’ travel behavior characteristics,as well as the motivation of tourists and potential tourists to travel to the Yongqingfang Historical and Cultural District,showed that the tourism products in the Yongqingfang Historical and Cultural District lacked planning,characteristics,and competitiveness The experience is not strong and differs greatly from the expectations of tourists.Residence,gender,age,occupation,income,and other factors can have a certain impact on tourists’ travel behavior characteristics.The main purposes of tourists’ Yongqingfang tourism are: food,craft shops,historical buildings,and cultural activities.Based on tourists’ travel purposes and characteristics,tourism product development strategies are provided from five dimensions: historical architecture,style experience,cultural activities,cuisine,and craft shops.This study proposes a concept for the development of tourism products in the Yongqingfang Historical and Cultural District,including providing development ideas,adhering to the "micro modification" theory,people oriented,highlighting individuality,showcasing characteristics,adhering to the market guidance development principles,coordinated arrangement,and independent play.The development strategy needs to revolve around the positioning of Yongqing Historical and Cultural District and actively go outside,adhere to the combination of culture and tourism,and innovate the development methods of tourism products.Based on the perspective of urban renewal and micro modification,combined with the existing problems of tourism products,propose(1)clarifying the tourism products positioninga nd highlighting their characteristics;(2)Adhere to micro modification updating to enhance tourism products vitality;(3)Refine the market to meet the needs of different groups and promote the diversification of tourism products;(4)Overall planning to enhance tourism products competitiveness;(5)Strengthen tourism products experience and establish an effective communication mechanism between developers and merchants;(6)A development strategy that fully considers tourism motivation and enhances the feasibility of tourism product development.This article is based on urban regeneration and "micro modification" to study tourism products development in historical and cultural blocks.It can provide reference for the subsequent tourism products development in the third and fourth phases of Yongqingfang Historical and Cultural Block,as well as for tourism products development in other historical and cultural blocks that adopt the "micro modification " update method. |
