Transportation construction is the basic industry of the country and the pioneer industry of economic development,and a strong transportation country is a major strategic goal of national development.As the main artery of transportation,highways provide strong support for socio-economic development and play a vital role in local transportation,resource development,investment activities,industrial structure optimization and integration of cross-border economy.The front-line labor force supporting the whole highway operation is the highway toll collectors,who carry out the business of collecting tolls at the main highway intersections in accordance with the rules and regulations,serving the majority of drivers and passengers,and are a profession closely linked to the transportation industry.As one of the highway operation and management companies in the northeast region,Changyuan company operates and manages 4,580 kilometers of highway mileage,has 14 highway operation branches and 218 toll stations under its jurisdiction,and currently has 6,800 toll collectors.The high mobility and high demand of toll collector positions,as a grassroots team,are indicative of the company’s image and efficiency.To ensure the smooth and orderly development of the highway business with high quality,training for highway toll collectors is essential in order to meet the operating company’s development needs.I selected Changyuan company as my research sample,basing my theory on adult learning theory,Ebbinghaus forgetting curve,and Kirkpatrick model.After perusing numerous related studies both domestically and internationally,I employed literature research,questionnaire survey,and other research techniques to acquire pertinent information about the training of.I conducted a thorough and systematic analysis of the issues concerning highway toll collectors in Changyuan Company,taking into account the current state of such training and the company’s development strategy and target.The company’s toll collector training was detrimentally impacted by a lack of adequate training resources,an unscientific curriculum,and inadequate supervision.On this basis,the paper analyzes the causes of the problems and proposes a targeted,effective and perfect training program for toll collectors in accordance with the scientific process,taking into account the actual situation of the company,and puts forward the implementation guarantee of the program from three aspects: system,organization and culture.Through the specialized and systematic training of toll collectors,the purpose is to enhance the satisfaction of service recipients,improve the company’s image,increase its efficiency and promote its development.In addition,there is a lack of relevant research on highway toll collector training programs in China’s transportation field,and this program can also provide some reference for other companies in the same field in China to carry out toll collector training work.
