Performance evaluation of highway toll station as an effective management tool, canachieve incentive fees station staff, improve the toll station service level and work efficiency.China’s toll highway management rests on empirically management stage, it is difficult toadapt to the future development needs. We tried to Beijing Expressway Toll StationShijiazhuang as a starting point, using the principle of performance appraisal performanceappraisal design and practice, hoping to play a role, as the continuous rise of expressway tollstation management to provide a reference sample.In this paper, methods to query data and research-based, with the actual situation of tollstation in Shijiazhuang, empirical analysis and normative analysis using a combination oftheory and reality, a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, based on humanresources management, motivation theory, performance appraisal, organizational behaviortheories such a study, so that the design of the performance evaluation program only has acertain degree of scientific and advance, but also to adapt to the actual situation ofShijiazhuang toll, feasible and practical.Shijiazhuang toll on the existing performance appraisal system to achieve standardizationof the management of toll stations played a certain role, but in practice the process ofevaluation system now also reflects some of the shortcomings. By diagnosis, toll station inShijiazhuang performance appraisal system has been redesigned. First of all to improve theperformance appraisal of the organization, to build a toll station in Shijiazhuang keyperformance assessment indicators. Performance appraisal to be obtained through theperformance of communication and feedback.The Shijiazhuang toll station to fully implement performance appraisal program, pass ayear of much practice, preliminary achieved anticipated effect. Mainly in the safe liabilityaccident, emergency and secretly filled events are three untouchable" high-voltage wire".Through service quality implementation results, such as in the service complaints, civilizedservice specification, customer satisfaction, charging error rate and health, discipline statusand other aspects of improvement, performance evaluation has made certain effect. But in theprocess of implementing still exist some problems, such as corporate culture, lack of support, supervisor support is insufficient, responsibility, right, profit is not uniform and welfaresupport inadequacy. According to the actual situation of home charging station and putsforward some countermeasures and suggestions, mainly include: to establish performanceassessment leading group, strengthen the evaluation of performance, a diversified use ofevaluation results, the establishment of good corporate culture, and to improve theinformation management system supporting the building, to improve the efficiency ofperformance appraisal.
