| With the continuous upgrading of global industrial structure and the gradual deepening of economic types, the service industry has gradually become the main driving force for economic development, and the focus of international investment has gradually shifted towards knowledge intensive service industries. The productive service industry is an important component of the service industry, truly playing an engine role in driving economic growth. The Chinese government pays attention to the development of the productive service industry to improve the quality of modern service industries. In the context of economic globalization, the opening up of productive services has become a mainstream trend, bringing vitality to the global economy and promoting the economy. In the context of the continuous expansion of the productive service industry and the continuous growth of energy consumption, energy conservation and emission reduction are issues that need to be taken seriously in the process of China’s economic development and the opening up of the service industry. The productive service industry not only has the characteristics of low pollution and low energy consumption, but also has advantages such as economies of scale and high-tech level. The productive service industry, through its own advantages, can optimize the development structure of energy, reduce the proportion of high polluting energy consumption.Through the open development of the productive service industry,China’s total energy output can be improved to a certain extent. This article is based on the development of green economy, exploring the scope, theoretical concepts, and measurement methods of the openness of productive services and energy efficiency. It also conducts a multi perspective and hierarchical study on the impact of the openness of productive services on energy efficiency.Combining theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, this paper systematically combs the theory of producer services opening and energy efficiency theory, calculates China’s energy efficiency from 2000 to 2019 through the SBM-DEA model, and conducts empirical tests through the robustness test, heterogeneity analysis, and mesomeric effect model to specifically explore the impact of producer services opening on energy efficiency. The results show that: Firstly, the opening up of productive service industries has a significant promoting effect on the improvement of energy efficiency in China;Secondly, the opening up of productive service industries has regional and temporal heterogeneity in improving energy efficiency in China: the promoting effect on the western region is more obvious than that on the eastern and central regions; The opening up of the productive service industry has had a more significant impact on energy efficiency since 2012.Lastly,the impact of producer services opening on China’s energy efficiency is not only a direct effect, but also a mesomeric effect such as technological innovation, economies of scale, and environmental regulation. The innovation points of this article are mainly reflected in the innovation of research perspectives and research content.Starting from the perspective of the openness of the productive service industry,it innovatively links the openness of the productive service industry with China’s energy efficiency, analyzes the impact of the former on the latter, and obtains reasonable conclusions.Based on this, this article further opens up the productive service industry and promotes the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.Provide reasonable suggestions for improving China’s energy efficiency and other aspects. |
