In order to ensure the safety of heavy-haul trains and improve the efficiency of heavy-haul railroad transportation,it is necessary to simulate the operating conditions and related operating parameters of heavy-haul trains due to the complex line condition,long formation and large capacity of heavy-haul trains.In this paper,we use the method of dynamics modeling to calculate the traction of heavy-haul railroad to obtain the relevant parameters of train operation,and establish the traction power supply simulation model and bow network simulation model,and combine the train operation parameters with the simulation model to obtain the simulation results matching with the train operation conditions;based on the idea of BIM technology,we combine the system simulation with Unity 3D to build the visualization simulation of heavy-haul railroad car bow network operation.Based on the idea of BIM technology,the system simulation is combined with Unity 3D to build a visual operation simulation system of heavy-haul railway car arch network,and the simulation data and train operation are displayed in a three-dimensional environment,which plays an active role in the scheduling and transportation of the railroad,the operation optimization of the line and the training of the driving staff.(1)Research on the operating characteristics of heavy-haul railroads and analyze the requirements of visualization and simulation system for heavy-haul railroads.Construct the train motion equation by analyzing the force situation of train operation process.Adopt the integrated operation strategy as the train operation speed regulation strategy,design the calculation process of traction calculation,and get the train operation speed curve that changes dynamically with the train operation.(2)The traction power supply simulation model and the bow network relationship simulation model are constructed,and the static parameters such as speed and power in the simulation model are replaced by the dynamic parameters obtained from the traction calculation that change with the operation of trains,so as to obtain the results of traction network pressure distribution and the change of bow network contact force in line with the actual working conditions of the line and the operation state of trains.(3)Build 3D models of locomotives,traction networks and tracks,construct a visual operation simulation system for heavy-duty railroad car arch network based on the idea of BIM technology,analyze the data required for simulation calculation and the relationship between data,build a heavy-duty railroad simulation database,complete the communication between Unity 3D and Matlab in two different ways through Matlab’s code generation technology and Matlab engine,and display the simulation data and locomotive operation status in a 3D environment.The simulation results in Unity 3D can better reflect the information of train running speed,traction network pressure and contact force and other parameters,and help people better understand the process and status of train operation by combining the 3D model of the network,realizing the simulation of Matlab combined with Unity 3D,and providing theoretical reference for heavy-duty railroad scheduling and transportation,line operation optimization and driver’s auxiliary training.
