As an important part of urban public space,under-bridge space has been the focus of Beijing’s urban renewal work in recent years, and has played a great role in improving urban living environment and stimulating urban vitality.2022,Beijing Municipal People’s Government issued the "2022 Municipal Government Work Report Key Tasks List",which states in the document: to strengthen and promote the fine management of under-bridge space, accelerate the The document states that it is necessary to strengthen and promote the fine management of under-bridge space, accelerate the construction of "orbital micro-centers",and further improve the regional transportation network. In the same year, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources issued the "Measures for the Management of the Use of Underbridge Space on Urban Roads in Beijing" and related regulations and standards, and formulated the "Design Guidelines for the Use of Underbridge Space in Beijing".The basic requirements for the design and utilization of space under bridges in Beijing were clarified, and the experience and practices of the pilot work on the design and renovation of space under bridges were summarized. This is not only to build a better and livable city, but also to confirm the value of the commercial space design of the under-bridge space of elevated rail stations. In order to realize the synergistic development of under-bridge space and commercial space of elevated rail stations, and to guarantee the social benefits while taking into account the economic benefits, this paper takes under-bridge space of elevated rail stations in Beijing as the main spatial carrier, and takes the design of under-bridge commercial space of elevated rail stations as the research goal, and makes a systematic review and proposes corresponding design strategies. The thesis is mainly divided into five parts: Chapter 1 is the introduction, which mainly explains the background, purpose and significance of the thesis, concept definition, research content and methodology, etc.;Chapter 2 is the theoretical research part, which summarizes the research status of the space under the bridge, the space under the elevated bridge of the rail transit and the elevated rail station at home and abroad;Chapter 3 analyzes the space under the bridge of the elevated rail station in Beijing, from the distribution of the elevated rail station in the city Chapter 3 analyzes the under-bridge space of Beijing’s elevated rail stations, from the distribution of the stations, the classification of the stations, the structural form of the under-bridge space of the stations, the attributes of the under-bridge space of the stations, the current utilization function and the classification of the under-bridge commercial space design of the stations;Chapter 4 analyzes the constraints of the under-bridge commercial space design of the elevated rail stations in Beijing, the analysis of the potential of the commercial space design and the characteristics of the commercial space design, and sorts out the feasibility of the under-bridge commercial space design.Chapter 5 provides a detailed analysis of the design of commercial spaces under bridges at elevated rail stations in Beijing, and composes and summarizes the functional zoning and flow organization, space classification, materials and paving, environment and noise, color and signage, development and management of commercial spaces under bridges at elevated rail stations in the city. The study of this paper is expected to provide a useful tool for the Through the research of this paper,it is hoped that it can provide a reference for the design of commercial space under the bridge of urban elevated rail stations in the future.
