Post-use Evaluation (POE) Of Children’s Activity Places And Optimization Of Place Environment

With the progress and development of the times,as well as the impact of the epidemic in recent years,children’s time spent studying at home has suddenly increased,resulting in increasing mental stress,emotional management problems,peer communication problems,and so on.Children,as the future of the motherland,are the spiritual sustenance of thousands of families.The children’s playground in the city park is the main carrier of outdoor activities for urban children,providing a comfortable and natural green activity space for children’s healthy growth.It plays a positive role in alleviating children’s psychological problems,improving children’s peer communication ability,exploration spirit,communication ability,cooperation ability,self-efficacy and parent-child relationship.This study focuses on the children’s activity venues in six comprehensive parks in Xinxiang City,aiming to propose design and optimization strategies for children’s activity venues in urban parks in Xinxiang City based on practical research.There are the following gains in total:(1)Constructing a POE evaluation system,the selection of evaluation factor sets includes four primary evaluation factors,namely site comfort and convenience,site safety performance,site sense of belonging elements,and site capability development and literacy improvement elements.Among them,the comfort and convenience of the venue include 12 individual factors;The safety use of the site includes 7individual factors;The sense of belonging to the venue includes 8 individual factors;7 individual factors for ability development and literacy enhancement.There are a total of 34 secondary evaluation factors in the evaluation factor set.(2)Based on the evaluation of the importance of children’s activity venues in the urban comprehensive park of Xinxiang City,the importance ranking of 34 individual factors considered by users in the venue was mainly explored,and the weight indicators of 34 factors were obtained.The weights of the four first level evaluation factors are: comfort and convenience elements 7%;47% of safety performance elements are used;13% of the elements of the sense of belonging to the venue;Ability development and quality cultivation elements 33%.(3)The satisfaction level of the selected research parks reached E2 "relatively satisfactory" level,and the satisfaction ranking of these parks is: Dingguo Lake Park>Muye Park>People’s Park>South Lake Park>Harmony Park>Xiahe Park.(4)The improvement weights of 34 evaluation factors are obtained,and the improvement weight ranking is obtained.In the future improvement strategies,the top three priorities are activity facilities and ground safety,site building safety,and children’s self-efficacy.The last three priorities are the cost performance ratio of consumption,the overall sanitary water of the site environment,and the level of living service facilities.The innovation of this study is to combine environmental psychology,Maslow’s hierarchy of needs,and the basic needs,expected needs,and excited needs in Kano’s model.Based on the perspective of site users,combined with the difference between the importance and satisfaction that site users subjectively think,the expected value is obtained,so as to reset different types of important coefficients for the investigated indicators,Calculate the subjective evaluation factor improvement weights of users and rank them,that is,prioritize the future site optimization and improvement.Finally,propose targeted optimization strategies for the specific shortcomings of Nanhu Park.
