Research On The Motivation,effect And Risk Of Meijin Energy Transformation And Development

At present,China’s economy has entered a new normal of development,and the economic development has changed to quality and efficiency.The coal industry,which accounts for a large proportion in China’s energy industry,has experienced the "golden decade" of development,and the demand of downstream industries has weakened,the market supply exceeds demand,the product price has fallen,and the capacity has been overcapacity.At the same time,under the background of the era policy of "carbon neutrality and peak carbon dioxide emissions",developing clean energy and reducing carbon emissions have become the new development direction of energy enterprises.Under the pressure of internal and external environment,industrial transformation has become the survival and development trend of energy enterprises.This paper makes a case study of Meijin Energy’s transformation.First of all,it introduces the research background and significance,sorts out the related literature achievements of enterprise transformation at home and abroad,states the research ideas,methods,innovations and shortcomings of this paper,analyzes the development environment and transformation logic of energy enterprises,and expounds the research logic of transformation cases in this paper.Secondly,analyze the background and motivation of the transformation of Meijin Energy,a case company,analyze the transformation performance,explore the transformation effect of Meijin Energy,calculate the excess return rate of the transformation event to evaluate the performance of the transformation market,analyze the operating expenses,assets and liabilities,equity and cash flow before and after the transformation,evaluate the financial situation of the transformation,and calculate the financial indicators before and after the transformation to evaluate the financial ability of the transformation.Finally,based on the performance analysis,identify the risks in the transition,analyze the causes of the transition risks by using the concept of integration of industry and finance,and combine the operating conditions of Sino-American brocade energy business in the transition,and put forward some suggestions to deal with the transition risks.Based on the research and analysis of event study and case analysis,the main conclusions are as follows: First,because of its own industrial development dilemma and external environment,Meijin Energy chose enterprise transformation,and through investment cooperation and technology development,it formed the coordinated development pattern of old and new industries,extended the industrial chain and promoted the sustainable development of enterprises,and transformation was the right way choice;Second,the debt pressure,tight capital chain,cash flow situation,decision-making risk,financial risk and core competitiveness risk are the problems that Meijin Energy needs to pay attention to.Thirdly,aiming at the risk problems in the transformation,Meijin Energy can reduce the solution by optimizing the decision-making management structure,strengthening internal control,broadening financing channels,building a risk management system,adjusting the pace of transformation scale and strengthening the research and development of transformation technology.At the same time,government departments can cooperate with social capital to promote the scale and commercial development of new energy industry and help the transformation of energy enterprises.It is expected that through research and analysis,Meijin Energy can better adjust and control the overall situation of transformation,and provide some insights and help for the transformation and development of energy enterprises.
