Research On Waterfront Landscape Design Under The Concept Of Low Impact Development

China’s water resources are relatively scarce,about 400 cities are short of water,and the problem of water carrying capacity in various places is becoming increasingly serious.In today’s rapid development of industrialization,the hardened area of the city has increased sharply,and the environmental awareness of urban enterprises and residents is generally weak,resulting in the random discharge of industrial wastewater,domestic wastewater and agricultural wastewater,resulting in serious damage to the natural environment and water resources of cities and towns,causing a series of water ecological problems such as urban waterlogging,deterioration of the water system environment,and water shortage,while the waterfront landscape is also facing landscape problems such as monotonous landscape,single function,and weak ecological resilience.Therefore,today’s waterfront landscape can not only rely on traditional landscape design methods,but also need to combine low impact development methods to achieve the organic unity of ecological function and landscape function.As the main green space type and waterfront area in the city,the park can effectively store,reimpound,purify and recycle precipitation by combining low impact development and waterfront landscape design,which is of great significance for maintaining urban water ecological security,protecting the ecological environment,and building a low impact development rainwater recycling system.Firstly,this thesis discusses the feasibility of low impact development concept in waterfront landscape design through the research on the background,purpose and significance,concept,means,and technical content of the concept of low impact development.Secondly,in view of the existing problems of urban waterfront landscape in China,the design strategy of low impact development concept in waterfront landscape design is summarized.Finally,the current situation,water system environment and water resource utilization of Yudaihu Park in Zibo City are investigated and studied,and the waterfront landscape design of Yudaihu Park in Zibo City is taken as an example to discuss its landscape design practice under the concept of low impact development.Then,under the guidance of the low impact development concept,the design concepts and methods that adapt to the waterfront landscape of Zibo City are sorted out,and the design concepts and methods for the future construction of urban waterfront landscape are sorted out.
