The rapid changes in urban development have gradually brought traditional villages to the edge of oblivion.The loss of the overall appearance of villages,the disappearance of traditional culture,and the loss of village population have led to an increasing degree of protection of traditional villages in China.The development of3 D laser point cloud technology has led to its wide application in the field of historic building conservation,while the rise of virtual reality technology has further broadened the avenues for the conservation and display of traditional villages.This paper firstly discusses the research background,purpose and significance of the traditional village landscape volume roaming system,and introduces the current status of domestic and international research on 3D laser point cloud technology and virtual roaming technology in the field of traditional architecture conservation.Secondly,the current situation of traditional villages in Jilin Province is discussed from three aspects: village characteristics,development influencing factors and summary of current problems,and the research significance of the construction of the volume roaming system of traditional village style in Jilin Province is determined.Based on the knowledge of traditional villages in Jilin Province,we develop a basic conception of structural form and ideology for its wind and landscape volume roaming system.The relevant technologies and theories used for system construction are introduced,the data collection methods and contents of traditional villages are described,the data collection and processing requirements are proposed,and the overall technical flow of system design is determined by analyzing system design requirements,system modules and and feasibility.Finally,we take the traditional village of Sandao Yangji in Jilin Province as an example to collect and organize information,and process and transform its point cloud big data.The final application of UE4 Unreal platform to build Jilin Province traditional village landscape volume system,in the virtual world with a first-person perspective three-dimensional display of traditional village landscape volume relationship,and the integration of village data information.This paper takes an actual traditional village in Jilin province as an example,integrates detailed information of human history,spatial form,traditional dwellings and other elements of traditional villages,constructs a volume roaming system of traditional village style based on point cloud big data combined with virtual roaming technology,and extends it to all aspects of society,so as to promote the protection and development of traditional villages.It is hoped that the present study will help in the promotion and display of traditional villages in Jilin Province and subsequent conservation studies.
