Research On Landscape Protection And Renewal Of Historical And Cultural Districts Based On Urban Catalyst Theory

As an important component of a city’s context,historical and cultural blocks play an irreplaceable role in the process of urban renewal.In the rapid development of urbanization in Northeast China,the sustainable development of historical and cultural streets faces many practical problems.Exploring the sustainable development of historical and cultural streets under new protection and renewal concepts has become a topic of theoretical value and practical significance.The urban catalyst theory aims to reshape and activate original catalyst carriers with vitality and potential,and promote the development of the entire region by promoting the synergistic effect between adjacent or closely related original catalyst carriers.More importantly,the urban catalyst theory emphasizes the introduction of new catalyst elements while retaining the original ones,in line with the basic principles of landscape protection and renewal in historical and cultural blocks.This article first summarizes the characteristics and process of urban catalyst theory,and analyzes the applicability of urban catalyst application in the protection and renewal of historical and cultural blocks based on the development trend of historical block protection and renewal theory;Secondly,the spatial syntax and POI data analysis methods are interpreted to analyze the feasibility of assisting urban catalyst theory in the protection and renewal of historical and cultural blocks.Furthermore,the implementation steps of constructing the urban catalyst theory in the protection and renewal of historical blocks are as follows: Select the original catalyst element;Activate and reshape the original catalyst elements;Introducing new catalyst elements;Evaluation and adjustment of catalyst elements.Once again,catalyst and syntax analysis were conducted on the current situation and spatial composition elements of the historical and cultural block of Lucia Street.POI data analysis was conducted on functional catalysts.Finally,urban catalysts were applied to the historical and cultural block of Lucia Street based on current issues,and catalyst optimization and introduction design were carried out on the block.From the selection of original catalyst elements to the evaluation and analysis of the results of the landscape renewal design of the historical and cultural block of Lucia Street,To achieve the optimization and application of landscape protection and renewal in the historical and cultural district of Rosia Street from the perspective of urban catalyst.This article aims to explore a gradually implemented,feasible,and more reasonable mode of landscape protection and updating for historical and cultural blocks,taking Luoxi Street in Qiqihar City as an example,in order to provide reference cases for the academic community to carry out landscape protection and updating for related types of historical and cultural blocks in the future.
