Simulation Research On Influencing Factors Of Residents’ Participation In Renovation Of Deprived Neighborhoods Based On System Dynamics

At this stage,urban renewal is moving from incremental development to an era of both stock optimisation and incremental development at the same time,and the renovation of deprived neighbourhoods is an important part of urban renewal.China’s comprehensive renovation of old residential areas has achieved results,but also faces many obstacles,especially the residents’ participation enthusiasm is generally low.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the factors affecting residents’ participation in the renovation of old neighbourhoods in order to improve their motivation and promote the renovation of old neighbourhoods in a long-term manner.Firstly,This paper reviews the current research status of the reconstruction of old residential areas,influencing factors of residents’ participation and the application of system dynamics in the reconstruction of old residential areas,and determines the research direction and content of this paper.Secondly,through the method of literature research and questionnaire,from the static point of view,the principal component analysis method is used to determine the subjective and objective factors that affect residents’ participation in the reconstruction and their weights,among which the weights of economic incentives,participation channels and social supervision account for the largest proportion.Then,the system dynamics model of the causality diagram and the stock flow diagram of the reconstruction residents’ participation in the old residential area is constructed.Finally,on this basis,the simulation of single factor strategy and combination factor strategy is carried out by changing parameter variables.Based on the simulation results,the following conclusions are drawn and suggestions are put forward: First,through the single factor simulation,it is concluded that improving economic incentives and improving participation channels are the most effective in improving residents’ enthusiasm to participate in renovation,social supervision and government publicity can promote residents’ enthusiasm for participating in the reconstruction to a certain extent,and technical support factors have the least influence.Secondly,through the combination factor strategy simulation,it is concluded that while improving the reconstruction technology and strengthening the supervision,improving the participation channels can improve the enthusiasm of residents to participate in the reconstruction;When strengthening the supervision and publicity,and strengthening the economic incentive at the same time,the residents’ enthusiasm to participate in the reconstruction can be significantly improved;Improving incentives when improving the channels of participation will enable residents to stay involved in the renovation of old districts in the long term.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward suggestions related to improving residents’ enthusiasm for participation in renovation and promoting the renovation of old districts,such as improving incentive mechanisms and participation channels,strengthening supervision and management,and increasing publicity,which will help improve residents’ knowledge of the renovation of old districts,enhance their enthusiasm for participation in the renovation of old districts,promote the renovation of old districts in a long-term manner,and facilitate the reform of the national governance system.
