With the continuous development of economy and society,the continuous advancement of reform and opening up,the market demand has generally increased,and the business structure of enterprises has been constantly changed,in order to be able to adapt to the new social situation.The construction industry has played a great role in the process of China’s economic development,and has contributed a large part to the rapid development of the economy and society through urbanization in the early stage.However,the traditional development model of the construction industry is single,which has a restrictive impact on its continued development.The development model of the construction industry is more extensive than other industries,can not well practice green development,construction enterprise operation attaches importance to corporate profitability and market share,there is no long-term planning,in the face of the construction market is a red sea,some construction companies blindly seize the market,while constantly expanding the scale,trying to occupy a place in other fields.Many companies expand their business in other fields in order to strengthen their ability to resist risks,expand their markets by developing into other fields,and then implement diversified development strategies.Enterprises to formulate relevant strategies must go through scientific evaluation,through the market environment of the enterprise in the region,their own technical conditions and capital situation and other aspects of systematic scientific analysis,combined with the core competitiveness,to develop the strategy of the enterprise to adapt to the current development environment,in the case of market tightening,most enterprises choose diversified development strategy.Between the changing internal environment and the external environment,how to analyze the environment,determine the premise,enter new fields or open up new markets under the condition of ensuring that the original business is not affected,and how to stimulate the economic growth of enterprises under controllable risks are the problems that enterprises need to solve in the current environment.This paper focuses on HT Construction Company.Firstly,the overall background of the construction industry is described,the problems faced by the construction industry as a whole are proposed,the significance of topic selection is introduced,and the research methods and related strategic theories of strategic management are adopted to explain the necessity of diversified development strategies.Secondly,the basic situation,development history,development status and existing problems of HT Construction Company are briefly introduced,and the external environment of the company is analyzed by PEST analysis and Porter’s five forces model analysis,and the internal and external key factors of HT Construction Company are analyzed by SWOT analysis method,IFE analysis and EFE analysis.In addition,according to the environmental analysis results of HT Construction Company,summarize the necessity of the company’s diversified development and formulate a diversified development strategy: first,reduce and stop the real estate development market,second,maintain the development of construction business,third,increase the development of rural construction market,and fourth,increase the development of logistics,warehousing,processing,homestay and other supporting construction business.Finally,formulate safeguard measures for the implementation of the diversified development strategy: it is necessary to rationally allocate the company’s resources,optimize human resources security measures,strengthen technological upgrading to promote transformation,enhance brand effect to stimulate development,attach importance to capital flow,establish a dynamic mechanism for strategic evaluation,and ensure the effective implementation of the diversified development strategy in various aspects.
