Research And Application Of Garden Design In Traditional Academies In Southern Jiangsu And Northern Zhejiang

The development of traditional academies in ancient China has a long history.Traditional academies not only existed as a form of educational organization in ancient China,but also played an important role in spreading traditional culture in ancient society.The southern Jiangsu northern Zhejiang region is geographically similar,with a blend of history and cultural affinity;At the same time,as an economically developed region in China’s history,the area has a prosperous literary style and the development of academies has also taken the lead in the country.Therefore,this article selects traditional academy gardens in the southern Jiangsu northern Zhejiang region as the research object,and further explores the artistic characteristics and application research of academy gardens in the southern Jiangsu northern Zhejiang region.Based on the analysis of relevant literature and field research,this article objectively analyzes the garden environment of traditional academies in southern Jiangsu and northern Zhejiang from the overall to local,macro to micro perspectives.The main use of the "artistic craftsmanship analysis method" is to analyze the characteristics of traditional academy gardens in this region in terms of garden design ideas,and to conduct a detailed analysis of the construction methods and characteristics of academies.The aim is to have a more comprehensive and in—depth study of traditional academy gardens in this region.The first part combines a large amount of literature collection and field investigation to basically sort out the development history and current distribution of academy gardens in southern Jiangsu and northern Zhejiang,and records the ancient academy gardens in southern Jiangsu and northern Zhejiang in the form of an appendix.The second part summarizes and summarizes the characteristics of "artistic craftsmanship" based on the actual cases of traditional academy gardens in the remaining southern Jiangsu and northern Zhejiang regions.Divided into two parts: "meaning" and "craftsmanship",the gardening ideas and construction techniques of the academy gardens are summarized.The third part combines theory with practice,using the Guanghua Academy located at the entrance of Guanghua School in Wuxi City as a practical case,to demonstrate the practical significance of garden construction in the southern Jiangsu northern Zhejiang region.This article concludes that the academy gardens in the southern Jiangsu northern Zhejiang region are based on traditional Chinese culture and the geographical environment of the Jiangnan region,and are divided into two parts: "meaning" and "craftsmanship" to summarize the gardening ideas and construction techniques characteristics of academy gardens.The concept of "meaning" follows the design principle of "combining etiquette and music",relying on the natural beauty of mountains and rivers as the design foundation,and through the design ideas of "borrowing cultural heritage from scenery" and "scholars’ aspirations in the way",the design concept of constructing the academy garden is proposed.In terms of "craftsmanship",(1)summarize the layout and site selection characteristics of the two academy gardens,and obtain two types of academy locations located in the urban and suburban areas.(2)From the perspective of "etiquette and music",this article analyzes the spatial construction of academy gardens and draws two major conclusions: the traditional academy architectural space pursues order and emphasizes the characteristics of "etiquette" that emphasizes differences,as well as the garden space pursues harmony,emphasizes rhythm,and rich artistic conception of "music" The analysis of the landscape layout of the academy garden has led to the conclusion that the layout of mountains and stones should be tailored to the shape,while the layout of ponds and ponds should be tailored to the shape Analyze the unique architecture and sketch landscapes in the academy gardens,in order to identify the characteristics of various architecture and sketch landscapes Analyzing the plant configuration,it was concluded that the selection of plant varieties has the characteristic of expressing one’s aspirations through relying on things,and the configuration techniques pursue adapting to local conditions.This article aims to gain a deeper understanding of the protection work of traditional academy gardens in the area through research.On the other hand,it also has certain reference significance for contemporary campus landscape and cultural construction.
