The paper sorts out the problems discovered in the inspection work of water conservancy engineering construction projects in H Province from 2019 to 2022,and provides scientific methods for project legal persons and engineering consulting institutions to carry out project risk control work by studying the correlation laws between the problems discovered.The paper reviews the research status and basic theory of project risk management and water conservancy construction project inspection at home and abroad,and introduces the current situation of owner’s self inspection difficulty and imperfect risk response measures in water conservancy project construction practice.Based on the problem data discovered during the inspection of water conservancy engineering construction for many years,a group of problem categories with higher weights were identified as observation points for research,and problems with strong correlations were selected as observation targets;Analyze basic data based on linear regression theory to identify the correlation between observation problems and target problems.A prediction model was constructed based on the correlation between the observation problem and the target problem,and a set of easy to operate risk identification methods was established.By analyzing the case of Project J,the model can predict the likelihood of associated problem categories based on the identification results of problem categories,thereby helping the project entity to carry out targeted and focused risk management work.
